Immortal Path Space : Table of Content/Chapter List

On the second day, Gu Wei was still full of energy, though his legs trembled a bit as he walked.

"Gu Fellow Daoist, are your legs feeling uncomfortable? Do you need to rest for a while?" Qi Rui, seeing Gu Wei's trembling legs as he continued to assist with moving Qingxu Sect, felt a sense of goodwill.

"No need! I am practicing a special Body Refining Technique that requires me to repeatedly train my knees. Once mastered, it will have remarkable effects on a certain group of cultivators," Gu Wei explained.

Hearing Gu Wei's explanation, Qi Rui's eyes filled with envy and admiration. From the previous day's trading event, it was clear that the cultivators of the Great Chu Immortal Nation were wealthy individuals, and they naturally held their cultivation techniques in high regard. It seemed Gu Wei was practicing a highly extraordinary cultivation technique.

Qingxu Sect didn't have as many people or resources as Taihao Sect, considering they had merged into the Beast Spirit Sect. Wang Hong's fleet had prepared enough capacity for a million people, and after accommodating Qingxu Sect and Taihao Sect, there were still many transportation Flying Boats left. Wang Hong thought it would be a waste not to use these Flying Boats to earn some Spirit Stones.

So, Wang Hong quietly spread a message that there were still many empty slots available in the fleet. This message was cryptic enough that it wouldn't be discernible by the high-ranking figures of the Southern Region's Cultivation World.

After sending out this message, Wang Hong didn't make any other arrangements and waited at home for business opportunities.

It didn't take long before a Nascent Soul Cultivator from the Southern Region came seeking his help. "Fellow Daoist Wang, I have a request," said a red-faced old man.

"Oh! I'd be happy to assist if I can. Please, tell me what you need," Wang Hong replied promptly.

"It's like this, I heard that your fleet still has many empty Flying Boats. Would it be possible to purchase some? I'm sure we can come to a satisfying agreement regarding the price."

"We have two types of Flying Boats—sea-going and transport Flying Boats. Which one are you referring to?"

"I'm interested in the transport Flying Boats that can carry five hundred people."

After some recent interactions, the Southern Region Cultivators had gained some knowledge about the Great Chu Immortal Nation's Flying Boats. They were aware that these Flying Boats, though made of ordinary materials, were relatively inexpensive to produce, yet they could transport five hundred people at once. While they lacked combat capabilities, they were excellent choices for transporting goods and personnel on land.

Hearing this request, Wang Hong hesitated for a moment and then said, "I'm sorry, but these Flying Boats are currently all we have in the Great Chu Immortal Nation. However, in the next batch of goods we bring, some of the transport Flying Boats will be available for sale."

Currently, these transport Flying Boats couldn't be sold. This particular type of Flying Boat was designed by Chen Xiaofeng and was exclusive to the Great Chu Immortal Nation. It had played a significant role in evacuating tens of thousands of people from the Hezhou Continent and now in assisting the retreat of two major sects.

Without these transport Flying Boats, the Large Sea Ships, while capable of carrying two thousand people at once, were costly to construct, and there were only twenty of them in the entire Great Chu Immortal Nation. Large-sized Flying Boats were no different, only capable of carrying three hundred people, and their production required a considerable amount of resources.

It was these transport Flying Boats, with their low cost and high carrying capacity, that had given the Great Chu Immortal Nation the ability to relocate its entire population.

If these Flying Boats were sold to other factions now, they would likely be duplicated in no time. Therefore, the Flying Boats would be sold in the future, but precautions would be taken, such as installing self-destruct formations so that anyone attempting to dismantle them would trigger an explosion. During their return journey, several formation experts and tool refining specialists would be organized to modify the Flying Boats accordingly.

The rejection from Wang Hong didn't seem to disappoint the red-faced old man, as he didn't have high hopes to begin with. His main purpose was different.

"Since that's the case, I won't insist. I have another request. I have some younger disciples who wish to gain experience in the outside world. They hope to rent a Flying Boat from the fleet and travel together to Fengwu Continent."

With their Nascent Soul cultivation level, they had a good chance of safely crossing the Desolate Spirit Sea. However, it would be difficult for them to protect a group of younger disciples on the journey.

This opportunity allowed them to send some of their younger disciples to Fengwu Continent to gain experience and have access to a better cultivation environment. Moreover, given the impending turmoil and the possibility of the Human Clan being wiped out, it was essential to leave some seeds behind.

"That's not a problem at all. I can allocate a transport Flying Boat specifically for your use, Fellow Daoist. Would that be sufficient?" Wang Hong asked.

"Yes, thank you, Fellow Daoist. However, I have quite a few younger disciples, and I also have some baggage. Would it be possible to rent two Flying Boats?"

"Since Fellow Daoist has asked, I can provide you with two."

Wang Hong agreed decisively, and the two of them discussed the rental price and paid it on the spot.

In the following days, other high-ranking cultivators in the fleet faced similar situations as people approached them through connections. Some major families directly rented Flying Boats, while smaller ones rented available slots. Wang Hong had instructed them in advance on how to handle these requests, and all these individuals successfully achieved their objectives, paying a significant sum of Spirit Stones in return.

After staying in the Beast Spirit Sect for over ten days, the fleet finally set sail again, heading west from the Southern Region, carefully avoiding the Demon Clan to prevent any trouble or retaliation.

After more than half a year's journey, the fleet finally reached the vicinity of Fengwu Continent.

Wang Hong ordered the fleet to disembark the members of the two major sects on an island devoid of Spirit Qi. Although the island lacked Spirit Qi, it was spacious enough to accommodate tens of thousands of people without any issue.

With so many people, if they were brought directly to Lin Hai City, it would cause a massive commotion and draw the attention of local forces. This would make it challenging for them to establish a foothold in the area.

For now, it was best to place them here, and further plans could be made in due course.

Wang Hong also assigned a sea vessel and dozens of Flying Boats to transport some people to Lin Hai City in Fengwu Continent.

He had promised the Southern Region Cultivators that he would help their younger disciples reach Fengwu Continent, so he intended to fulfill that promise. Additionally, Qingxu Sect and Taihao Sect would need to send some personnel to prepare for their presence on Fengwu Continent.

As these people disembarked from the harbor and saw the high-tier cultivators bustling about, the prosperity here seemed far greater than that of the Hezhou Continent.
