Immortal Path Space : Table of Content/Chapter List

In this one-acre medicinal garden, there were countless varieties of Medicinal Herbs, but none of them exhibited any Spirit Qi fluctuations. Wang Hong couldn't identify a single one.

Since these plants had been planted here in such a prized location by savage beasts, they undoubtedly possessed unique properties. He felt like he had stumbled upon an entirely new world.

He meticulously examined each of these plants and discovered that many of them shared similarities with some Spiritual Herbs from the Cultivation World, except they lacked Spirit Qi fluctuations.

As he carefully explored the garden, he noticed a peculiar phenomenon: the rate at which his Spiritual Energy was depleting had unexpectedly increased. Using his Divine Sense to investigate, he identified the source of the Spirit Qi loss – it was some of the herbs in the garden.

These herbs possessed a remarkable ability to absorb Spirit Qi actively, drawing nearby Spirit Qi into themselves.

What was even more peculiar was that after absorbing Spirit Qi, these plants showed no signs of Spiritual Energy fluctuations whatsoever. He plucked a small leaf and chewed it for a while, but he still couldn't sense any trace of Spiritual Energy.

When he approached a certain fruit tree, he distinctly felt that the speed of Spirit Qi depletion accelerated significantly. The Spiritual Energy within his worn armor was rapidly dissipating, and it wouldn't be long before it became useless.

As he got closer to the fruit tree, he could clearly sense his Spirit Qi being rapidly drained and absorbed by the tree.

For a low-tier Cultivator, merely approaching this tree would result in complete loss of Spirit Qi.

After absorbing the Spirit Qi, the nearly ripe fruit on the tree became even redder, and its fragrance grew richer.

The tempting aroma made him wish he could pluck and devour a piece, but he didn't dare consume something he was unfamiliar with.

Instead, he decided to take it back and conduct experiments. Once he understood its properties, he could decide whether to use it for himself or against his enemies.

Seeing these peculiar plants, he wondered if they would be suitable for planting in his Space.

Before transplanting them, he entered his Space, cleared an area, and used Spirit Qi walls to isolate it.

With these preparations in place, he finally uprooted one of the herbs and transplanted it into the Space.

To his surprise, the herb didn't greedily absorb Spirit Qi as expected when it entered the Spirit Qi-rich environment of the Space. Instead, it immediately withered, appearing on the verge of death.

It seemed that while these plants could absorb Spirit Qi, they were unsuitable for Spirit Qi-rich environments, making them an unusual species.

However, once he planted the herb in the soil within his Space, it quickly regained vitality and began to absorb the Spirit Qi from the surroundings.

Seeing the Medicinal Herbs thrive, he confidently uprooted all the various Medicinal Herbs from the garden and transplanted them into his Space, isolating the area with Spirit Qi walls.

Finally, it was time for the fruit tree. He first plucked the mature fruit, sealed it in a wooden box, and sealed it with a spirit talisman, though he wasn't sure if it would be effective.

Then he dug up the fruit tree and planted it in his Space.

After planting all these items in his Space, he noticed that the Spirit Qi concentration in that small area was slowly decreasing. Even the Spirit Qi wall he had constructed had become slightly thinner.

With no other choice, he had to move the Spirit Qi wall further outward, beyond the absorption range of these plants. However, this meant that these plants occupied more than ten acres of his land, exacerbating the already critical shortage of Space land.

Space only had a total of 365 acres of land, and it was no longer expanding. Cultivating Poisonous Bees, poisonous flowers, and poisonous weeds alone took up dozens of acres.

The Spirit Vine capable of producing gourds required several acres of land when fully grown.

Furthermore, the numerous spirit fruit trees and spirit wood trees were growing larger with age.

The original orchard was already crowded, and as a last resort, he had to occasionally cut down a few trees.

Now, these mature spirit fruit trees had already occupied all the available space in his realm, leaving him with no choice but to continue planting various Spiritual Herbs in the remaining space.

After exploring the savage beast cave mansion, he didn't find anything particularly valuable, so he reluctantly left the place.

Returning along the same path, he arrived at the location of the previous battle, but his subordinates had already left.

Fortunately, they had preserved a communication magic tool, which was more suitable for use in the Land of Desolate Spirits than disposable transmission talismans.

He took out a jade mirror, formed a spell, and transmitted a message using his Divine Sense. After a few moments, a light sphere appeared in the mirror.

Upon receiving the light sphere, Xu Lun's voice emanated from it.

"Your Majesty, we have found an island in the northwest and are currently resting here."

Wang Hong communicated with Xu Lun, confirmed the location, and swiftly made his way there.

Upon arriving at the island, he found all his subordinates gathered on a hill.

"Your Majesty! You have finally returned safely."

Several subordinates greeted him from a distance.

"Your Majesty, we have encountered the native inhabitants on this island," Xu Lun reported as he saw Wang Hong, taking the initiative to speak.

"Oh! I was just looking to learn more about these local natives. Take me to see them; I have many questions," Wang Hong said, as he had many doubts, and perhaps the local natives could provide some insights.

"Of course, Your Majesty, please follow me. Their leader is currently with our troops."

Xu Lun led Wang Hong to a large tent where a middle-aged man was seated. When they entered, the man quickly stood up and bowed.

"I am Li Nong. I am honored to meet you, esteemed seniors."

Li Nong spoke in a manner similar to the East Zhou Human Clan, with only a slight difference in accent. His way of bowing to greet cultivators was no different, but there was no Spirit Qi fluctuation in his body.

"Fellow Daoist Li, please have a seat," Wang Hong said, taking a seat at the top. Subordinates had already prepared Spirit Tea, and it was served to everyone present.

"Fellow Daoist Li, we passed through this area and are not familiar with it. There are some things we would like to inquire about," Wang Hong began.

"Please, feel free to ask, esteemed seniors. I will answer to the best of my knowledge," Li Nong replied sincerely.

"Well, I have come across some peculiar plants in this area that I am unfamiliar with. I was hoping you could help identify them," Wang Hong said, producing a herb he had collected from the savage beast's garden and handed it to Li Nong for identification.

"This... this should be the Scarlet Wild Lotus! It's an extremely rare Medicinal Herb. I've only seen it in our ancestral records. This Medicinal Herb can enhance physical strength and power."

Li Nong's expression was somewhat astonished when he saw the Medicinal Herb. In fact, Wang Hong had plucked this particular herb from the garden near the savage beast's lair, and it didn't look particularly valuable. He had assumed it wouldn't be worth much, which was why he brought it out.
