Come Together - The Beatles (Patreon)

Today we are learning how to play another classic rock song by The Beatles, Come Together, and this one is a fun one! This song is famous for a really cool intro riff that repeats throughout the song as well as a Ringo doing some really fine top notch drumming. I know Ringo gets a hard time, but his work on this song is amazing (He is a true musicians drummer, he is easy to poke fun at but any band, with the exception of maybe some double bass heavy metal bands, would love to have Ringo behind the sticks, another debate for another day).
The song opens up with that ironic riff which is really just a very creative D minor arpeggio that goes up the entire fretboard to finish of the minor 3rd and 5th intervals before grabbing the root note at the octave and sliding back down. From there the rest of the song is divided into a verse, bridge, which is just the riff again, chorus and a blues shuffle that also functions as the coda. The whole time Ringo is flexing his drum muscles and marking the changes with dramatic changes in the drums used.
As always we will teach you how to play the whole song, the riff, the arpeggios, all the pieces with the tabs on the screen and everything you need to rock out this classic song.
