Thanks! That was a great lesson. A few of those are going to take some slowing down and practice for me to keep finger panic from setting in. I always have to tell myself it's ok to slow it down otherwise my fingers are like the three stooges trying to get through a doorway all at the same time. I noticed on the long slide it was a challenge to keep my finger at the right pressure otherwise it made vibrato going over each fret.

Slow steady really wins the race. When I learn anything new my focus is on playing it in time. I try to find the fastest speed possible that I can that is in time. If it is 60 BPM, cool, it if is 80, fine, but I try to find the speed that is in time. A lot of time too slow can be even trickier to stay in time so it is about finding that sweet spot but in time is very important. The once I have that it is repetition, over and over. I try to condense it into something that I can use as a warm up, so I'll take a lesson like this and make it so I am using the first half to get warmed up that way anytime I pick up the Ukulele I am improving in that area. I do the same with solos, I break them down into phrases, which is kind of like a lick, and then I play those licks, in time, as warm ups. I have found that concentrated practice to be my best formula for success.
