Today we are going to make the scale into music. We have been learning the scales and drilling them with written patterns but we haven't really been able to turn into to music.. yet! Today we are going to take about how to turn fills into scales. I will walk you through my thought process and how I think about what scale shape to choose, what resolution is, what notes to resolve on and how long to play the notes for. After this lesson you should be able to examine a 12 bar blues and be able to rip it apart and turn into fills. So lets learn how to make our scales sound musical!

You have until May 1st to complete all 10 videos. Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/tenthumbspr... Write your own blues lyrics here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GdvXh... Love your commentary at the end of these lessons, Tyler! My main ambition for this challenge is to complete to the end -- that's the prize to learn Day 10 Blues Jam! Thanks for the lessons. Spock Speaking, "I have been and always shall be your Ukulele Friend!" Well, not exactly but something in that vain. Cheers!
