Today we are going to learn more scale shapes and more chord shapes. The E blues scale has 5 shapes and we have only done just one, so we are going to learn shape 5 and 1 to help us move further up the neck. We are also going to work that scale into the the 12 bar so we can practice it in rhythm. Get really good at it because we are going to take it from a basic exercise to actually making fills with it tomorrow.

#10DayBluesChallenge - More Scale and Chord Shapes - Day 8 - Ukulele Blues Tutorial

Here is how to enter and maybe win yourself a brand new Ukulele from Tenthumbs! It works like this all you have to do is tape yourself doing all 10 days and upload them to instagram and tag us @Tenthumbspro. If you complete all 10 days you are entered to win a Ukulele! You have until May 1st to complete all 10 videos. Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/tenthumbspr... Write your own blues lyrics here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GdvXh... Get tabs for all our lessons here: https://www.patreon.com/TenThumbsPro If you are too shy to do the videos publicly you can send them as a private message to me on Instagram. I prefer if you do them publicly so more people can see the videos, because it encourages more people to participate in the challenge. Giving you something to do over the next 10 days! 10 Thumbs Challenges Facebook group for extra support: https://www.facebook.com/groups/26559... #10DayBluesChallenge

This challenge is the first time I've played past the 3rd fret! Thank you! I'm feeling so much more confident!

That is huge! Great to hear. It is an amazing feeling when you start to move up the fretboard... or down... I am never quite sure which preposition to use.
