How to Read Sheet Music for Ukulele Players 1/4 - Ukulele Tutorial

New Ukulele Tutorials every Wednesday and Saturday, susbcribe and learn! Today my friends we are starting our journey passed Ukulele players and moving towards becoming more complete musicians. We are going to examine how to read sheet music and convert them into Ukulele tabs. This series will be a four part series that will cover the entire month of March. In this first lesson we will learn what the notes on the staff are, the time divisions, whole, half, quarter and eighth, for both our notes and our rests, what 4/4 time signature is and at the end we will play a little melody together in the key of C to see if we learned how to read sheet music. Learning and developing these skills will also help you in the area of music theory as well. So, it is a win win, learning sheet music for the Ukulele is also a study in music theory for the Ukulele!
