Many thanks for an excellent reaction to a great story. I think this one has a ton of depth. With regards to the Timelord Wrestling bit, I see it's already been mentioned regarding the fact that the unknown faces were indeed meant to be that of pre-Hartnell Doctors. Putting aside my thoughts on that, I believe the reason it wasn't stated as such, at least in the credits, was because the faces they used were that of set extras, who for some reason, couldn't be credited in the titles. When I first saw this, it was at a time when most believed Hartnell to be the first iteration of The Doctor, so I just assumed they were that of Morbius, or of younger versions of the Hartnell Doctor. I found The brain falling on the floor bit to be hilarious - if that place was a hospital, I'd avoid it like the plague! See you next time!

The 'early faces' were crew members (the director Douglas Camfield e.g.)

Yes, I think there was some legal reason they couldn't be credited. Was a long time ago when I watched the extra on this DVD which I think explained it in more detail.

Yeah - the extra faces... It has been said that the director had intended those faces to be earlier, unseen versions of the Doctor. And of course, at this point in the series, the 12 regeneration rule hadn't been established, and continity especially between production teams, going back 13 years at this point wasn't something they really thought about at all. So they could have been. Now while I discovered Doctor Who during the 4th Doctor era, it wasn't until the season 14, so by the time I had seen this episode, I knew about things like the 12 regeneration limit, and assumed those faces were Morbuis' Of course if you go back now and look at the Timeless Child story, they show up as possible previous Doctors.
