I hear you on the annoyance of being sick. When I went through covid, once I knew that I had it that is, (Though the annoyance applies to any time I'm sick) the annoyance was pretty much daily. I still get a small laugh at how both this show, and Game of Thrones try really hard to get me to be really taken with the dragons, and it just isn’t working for me. The main reason for this is of course due to the fact that they all pale in comparison to Smaug the Terrible, the chiefest and greatest calamity of our age. I will say that the one dragon squishing the one guy caused a big belly laugh. The politics of it all has been the highlight of the show thus far. Three episodes in and Otto is remaining at or around the top of my list of favorites for this show. And judging by the scuttlebutt that I've heard, it would appear that I am alone in holding that opinion. Apparently, the consensus view of what I've heard is that everyone hates Otto’s guts. I’m not mad. I’m not even that annoyed as it’s far from the first time I have an unpopular opinion on favorite characters, and it sure as shit won’t be the last. Regarding your thought of did he arrange the whole stag thing, honestly if he had the means and resources, I wouldn’t put it past him. I find Alicent is climbing the ranks of favorite characters in this show. Like you say, she is proving intriguing. I’m happy that there are in fact Lannister characters in this, and when we meet them, I even said, “Wait, so there are Lannister characters in this show? Oh, well, thank God. I was actually getting worried there for a minute.” The final battle sequence was nuts. Daemon was most impressive with his strategy of pulling a page out of the Jedi war crimes handbook by going with the whole false surrender tactic, followed by him going to town and killing the Crabfeeder a lot faster than the Night King got killed. Sad thing with it being suggested that Rhaenyra marry Aegon wasn’t all that much of a surprise considering how big into incest the Targaryens are. The show’s been going well so far. I’m enjoying it. I’m enjoying the fact that you’re enjoying it, and I look forward to continuing sharing the show with you, Jess. And again, I hope you continue to get better from covid.

I know this sounded super weird. I literally had just watched your WandaVision episode 9 reaction where you were wearing this and I thought to myself how cute it was. Then again, you always have the most fabulous outfits and makeup. Super jealous.
