This was a pretty solid start to the show. I'd say you're fairly spot on with your observation of how it appears that one of the central themes of the show is identity. I'm still laughing over when I saw this episode early this morning and I got got to the therapist scene, I see the therapist and I said, "Wait, is that Peggy from Everybody Loves Raymond?!" I paused the episode, go to look it up on my computer and said, "That IS Peggy! Holy crap!" I'm waiting to learn more about whoever this not-Captain America is before I form a full opinion, though I will say your reaction to that was a highlight of the reaction. Looking forward to seeing how the show goes; should be fun.

I'm loving the pace of this show. Straight to the action! I really enjoyed the more personal scenes with Bucky. You can tell it is really eating him up inside to know he was responsible for taking away that man's son. I'm definitely looking forward to more. I heard somewhere that this was supposed to be the Marvel show that should've aired first instead of Wandavision but plans changed due to the pandemic. Not sure if that's true or not, but you can definitely tell they were trying to start out with a bang.
