Sesska's Favorite TV Moment of the Week (8/27-9/2) (Patreon)

My Game of Thrones life is now complete! I have been waiting for this scene for so long! And more so than anything else…I was actually excited to see other fans get just as excited as me. When Peter and Lena get into a room, it is amazing. The history and rage between these two characters is shown in the little nuances all covered in the fact that they are indeed family. 

I think Tyrion was genuinely trying to reach his sister on some level. I think Cersei was trying to manipulate the whole situation but nonetheless this scene did not disappoint me for one second. A close second was Jaime finally leaving Cersei and gaining the courage to do what he should have done all along. But I just can’t contain my glee of seeing Peter and Lena in the same room without anyone else interrupting. 

I honestly and truly don’t know how I feel about Game of Thrones this season. It might take me a while to let it soak in and then decide how I really feel about all of it. But I can say it ended on a high note for me. They gave some screen time back to what i think is the most interesting dynamic of the whole show. I have been pretty upset with how they’ve portrayed Tyrion these past few seasons and I’m hoping that will all change. Though I’m not sure it will. 

But this scene….this scene is what I’m going to cling to. This scene is giving me hope for the final season. I really do hope we are able to get some spectacular scenes with some brilliant performances. I’m really hoping they give the right material to both Lena and Peter in the final season so that these brilliant actors can tell their story well. Until then, I’ll just have this moment on repeat.
