I stopped crying a little while ago when I ran out of tears to cry and Blue kept on holding me and moving my body around to check me out. She took my socks and shoes off to look at my feet and called them, "Aqua Marine sized" or maybe smaller. I have no idea what she meant, but I didn't care. She suddenly played with my hair a little and did other things like poking me gently. When she grazed my foot it tickled, so I pulled it back but did not laugh. I only curled up in her hand and she held me closer to her face.

Blue-Is this a defensive position, Little (Y/N)?

(Y/N)-*Groan*

She started to pet my head with her finger and I just looked up at her feeling hopeless because even if I do get away from her, we're not even on Earth anymore. This ship was going super fast and I could feel it a little still. I felt the ship do something to slow down and Blue Pearl looked up to Blue.

She left and Blue looked at me and I did the same to her. I know she plans to leave us here, but I don't know if we all get our own cages or something.

I tried to leave and go to her, but Blue would still not let me go. She looked confused though.

(Y/N) looked ready to cry again to be with Mommy or (M/N), but I grew more curious about this matter. I tried to put it into concept first as best as I could to understand this odd human practice with names.

Blue-Can you explain to me what a 'Mommy' is? How many Mommies are there?

(Y/N)-*Sniffle* M-My Mommy is someone who loves me and takes care of me. Th-They are a Mommy when a girl has a baby.

I left the room and sighed at this. To think I was finally getting moved up to work closely with a Diamond, but it's to look after one little human. Not what I had in mind, but better than being in a remote station out here. I made it to a room for me to work in and I just got sent all the information.

I read through the list and food, water, a main containment area, portable containment, entertainment, proper clothing, health care, and bathing. I know what is needed for all of this, but I don't have a clear idea of how to accommodate all of this. I started by making orders that would be my last here for clothing materials, the matter for food and water to hold over until we get a more stable flow of it, and soft materials for sleeping.

Just make sure it's able to keep the human in while giving our Diamond easy access and observation. Other requirements will be in a message I send.

Holly-Blue Diamond will have you examine the human to make sure they are healthy, but I want you to do something about waste management. Unless you would rather come by every day for 'clean up'.

I ended the call and letter when we took off, I tried to get the rest of my work done for improvements. I found a file for life on Earth in its present-day and spent an hour looking through things.

(Blue Pearl's POV)

Both of the females were rather feral and attacked. One of them tried to kick me and when I reported this, My Diamond seemed pleased the young human would not be exposed to and build on this for behavior when she read that 'children' often take after example. She had the ship on auto-pilot and I turned to see her do something I have not seen her do in a long time... Smile. Not a sad smile while thinking about Pink Diamond, but a... half-sad smile with the human.

It felt nice not to cry her tears and simply focus on getting back to Homeworld, but I do worry how the others will take this. Not for me, but for Blue Diamond. When Yellow was calling the ship, Blue Diamond looked in a bit of a panic while looking at (Y/N). That's when she looked at me and quickly gave the human to me, so I held him with one arm.

Blue-Pearl, wait outside with him. Yellow can not know about this just yet.

I took him with me out of the room and he looked scared to be with me rather than looking happy as the Amethyst and Holly Blue Agate described the humans in the zoo. I took him to a private room and did more studying on humans his age for further advice to other gems. I just put him on a table and he just curled up again like he did in My Diamond's palm. During my research, it says that most human children don't take too well to permanent changes of residence and the farther it is, the worse it will cause stress. Stress can lead to illness or death for a human. Blue Diamond will not like this news, so I will do my best to tackle this situation now.

Blue Pearl's mind-It says this solves itself in due time, but it says distractions help. Mainly fun and relaxation activities... Humans all have different opinions on this... What's his?
