(Francine's POV)

I never seen so many weird versions of New York before and even guy versions of me. Much less recruit them. I finally got my stuff done first and headed back to base and expected to relax a little. That was before I teleported in the lab and came face to face with a wall. I still need to figure out these portals. In the short moment that I was dizzy, I felt a surge of electricity coming from somewhere. It was close by and I liked it, so I followed it. When I found the source, it was (Y/N) inside some kind of machine and the energy all around him was acting weird... There was something else about this and it has to do with him.

Francine-All of that energy... It's so... beautiful.

I was about to go up and touch it... Just a touch, but then a speaker went off.

Liv-Francine!

I looked around for the speaker and found a camera over the door. Liv must be watching her machine work on the unconscious boy.

Liv-Get out of there! You are interfering with the data.

Francine-Ugh, fine... Hover much? *mumbling*

Liv-What was that?

Francine-I said where can I find some food around here.

I just left the room, but I got one last look at (Y/N) before the doors closed. The energy still radiated in there and it was so tempting to bust down the door and take the energy for myself, but then I remembered the promise... Then again...

Francine-Where else would I find energy like that if he has a one-of-a-kind power?

(Elain's POV)

I was finally done with giving out watches. I got a few other Scorpians on the team and some of them were really fun with their work. However, they did get salty when they found out that I was in the top group of this place. I got some food from another universe where food was free and they were pizza balls. Now, I just got back and looked around the base for my room which was hard because I was used to tiny apartments, warehouses, or houses I was crashing into to sleep in. Never really had a base this big before that wasn't run down. I really liked it, but still have to adjust, which leads me to my problem...

Elain-Where the fuck is my room?! *echo*

The mostly empty and huge lobby is where I ended up and I just followed signs that pointed to the lab. Liv is most likely there and she better have a map or something. When I got to the labs, I saw Francine looking at a door from across the hall.

Elain-Hey, waiting for something?

Francine-Get. Lost.

Elain-Way ahead of you. This place needs more maps before I burn it down.

She only seemed anxious to get in the room she was looking at and it had flashing lights coming out the bottom for a bit. I moved along to the room next door and saw Liv and Beetle wrap things up.

Elain-Hey boss. I need a map of the building. I'm tired.

She looked at me and gave me a smile. Someone had a good time while I was gone.

Liv-Perfect. Take (Y/N) and watch him while I go over the data. All of this is amazing and I don't want a scratch on him

Elain-Lady, I just want to go to bed.

Liv-He's still out cold from your sedative. I'm sure you can handle a sleeping child. Thanks. Here's the location for your room. Bye.

She just gave me a tablet and Beetle left with her while I was put on babysitting duty. In case she has not realized this, I AM SCORPIAN!!! A villain that poisons people and I even once poisoned a city's water supply to make everyone hallucinate and destroy each other before Spider-Man cured them! I'm not a woman that you want as a babysitter!

Elain-Stupid.

I went to the next room over and took (Y/N) out of the machine and carried him over my shoulder. Francine was still here and was eyeballing the kid.

Elain-What?

Francine-What are you doing with him?

Elain-Boss put me on babysitting duty. I'm just going to tie him to my bed or something while he's still out cold.

Francine-Wait!... If you don't want him, give him to me.

I froze for a second in surprise. Didn't take her for a mother type, but I'm not going against orders in case Liv comes to me looking for him... Actually, she will look for him in my room.

Elain-Fine, but we got to my room.

(Timeskip 5 Minutes)

I crashed on my bed and I have not been on something so soft for a while now. Now... If only I could enjoy this alone. Francine was sitting at the side of my bed and holding the boy, but he should wake up soon if he only had my dose. I just don't know exactly when that will be.

(Y/N)-*Groan*.

I guess it's now.

(Francine's POV)

(Y/N) was not giving off that energy anymore, but I know it's in there now... Pure energy. He can help me achieve that. Who knew the key to my dream would be in a cute and harmless little boy? He was starting to wake up and when he looked at me with groggy eyes, he tried to struggle, even when his body was so weak. I didn't even have to try to keep him in place.

Francine-Morning, kid. Are you cozy on my lap? ~

Elain-Keep the teasing to a minimum. I am enjoying the silence.

Francine-Don't listen to her. I'm sure when the doctor is done with you, you're going to love being a part of my world. ~

Elain-What about that bunny cosplayer?

Francine-She wants a timid boy and she can find that anywhere. What I want from him is 'him'.

Elain-... Do you want a second to rephrase that?

I flashed a bit of lightning to make her shut up, but all she did was smile and raise her tail a little. Her eyes said, "Don't threaten me with a good time". I turned my attention back to (Y/N) and he looked afraid of me.

Francine-I'm surprised you're not screaming.

Elain-That's because his body is still going to be mostly numb for a while.

With that, I smiled and lied him down on the ground with me to give on my own energy field, but... he didn't give it back at all. What did that machine do that I'm not doing?  After a few more tries, I gave up and lied next to him. Soon, he started to move and tried to crawl away... very slowly. Elain saw this and jumped off the bed and over us to block the door playfully and I smiled too. I don't mind playtime.

Elain-Ohhhh, what do you think you're doing? Do you think you can escape? ~

He changed directions a little and did it again when Elain swayed her tail in front of him.

Elain-Awwww, this is so pathetic and hopeless. It's cute. ~

Francine-Here I come. Here comes Electro. ~

(Timeskip 1 Hour)

(Meekia's POV)

I finished a while ago but went to universe after universe where my dad might not be the Sandman, but just Flint Marko with a stable job and focused on his family without resorting to crime... I didn't find one like that. Even if he did change, the damage was already done. A tear shed my eye while I walked down a hall, but I stopped when I heard a faint scream and giggling coming from a door.

Meekia-Huh?

I knocked on the door, but the noises only continued, so I turned into sand to slip under the door and that's when I saw Francine and Elain playing with (Y/N) while he looked scared... There were younger versions of me that looked the same way.

Meekia-What's going on in here?

Elain-Relax, Sandy. I was forced to babysit, so we're trying to have a little harmless fun. I was thinking of injecting him with something to make him see something nice. Who knows, he might be more affectionate... Never had a kid that didn't try to run away from me in fear I would poison them... They weren't wrong, but I'm feeling adventurous.

This bothered me. I know I attacked cops, destroyed things, fought my dad, fought Spider-Man, robbed banks, but that was all to get by or just because it was my dad's fault. I have standards to not attack or torment little kids. They even saw how much this bothered me.

Francine-Jeez, you look like you're ready to fight.

I only took (Y/N) by sliding sand under him to scoop him up and hold him against me. They both just got up looked ready to fight now.

Elain-Girl... You may be made out of sand, but I fought my sandman before and it works.

Francine-And I can turn you into a pile of crystals and glass... Put. him. Down.

I just looked at (Y/N) and I know I can fight right now, but... He reminds me of me. I just put him down, but there was no way, I was leaving him here with them.

Meekia-Fine, but I'm staying.

(Lorina's POV)

I still had 1 more watch to go and I can't find another fun villain to have join us. I almost did with the last one, but I accidentally killed them... and the one before... and the other one before... The chibi one was cute, but I hugged them too hard.

Lorina-Ugggghhhh! I'm going to die of boredom out here! Just let me find someone and get back to my Dorm Mouse!

???-I can help with that. ~

Lorina-Huh? Who said that?

I turned around and I saw someone and they were sniffing the air around me.

White Rabbit jumped in the portal and her new recruit jumped in after her. She neglect to notice that she already had a watch and 2 others had their sights on them and smiled. They jumped done and stared into the portal as it closed and looked at their watches to track down their friend.
