((Y/N)'s POV) Age: 6

This town was so boring and all of my friends were far away. They were now too far into Ebott city or just out of the city for the whole summer. Mommy was at work and I never had a dad, so I just had to spend another summer day alone. I went to the library to play games on the computer or maybe find some fun books to read. While I was at the library, some other kids were here for story time or something since they were in the corner with a few adults reading stories. I did hear what one of the adults said when I died on a level and it did sound interesting.

Adult-This is a scary story about Mt. Ebott. A story of a monster and a curse... The legend said that those who climb Mt. Ebott never returned, but a little boy never knew why. Being a curious fellow, he decided to climb up the cursed mountain. 'I am not scared of anything!', he said. The villagers searched for the boy for months, but could not find him... Until one day, a monster came from the monster with his body and tried to eat the villagers. They chased the monster off and went to go hunt it, but they never found the monster... Poof... Gone... Or is it?

Kid#1-Is the monster still there?

Kid#2-Did the boy turn into a monster if he was bitten?

Kid#3-That's a zombie or a vampire.

Kid#2-She didn't say what kind of monster.

Adult-Nobody knows what the monster looked like, but there is a lesson to this story... We never go to Mt. Ebott or anywhere alone.

Oh come on, I ditch a lot of caretakers when my mom is not around and I am just fine. This is a very boring town where nothing happens and it sounds like they just made that story up... Though, it will make a good story when I go back to school about climbing a cursed mountain... I left the library and went home to get a camera to have proof that I did this. It was still early, so I had plenty of time to climb a mountain.

(Timeskip 1 Hour)

I made it to the mountain and followed a trail on it which also says that the story was made it. My grandpa said the only monsters in this world are bad people and there are barely any here. I know my mommy will get mad if she finds out that I am way out of boundaries, but maybe if I take a picture at the top of the mountain, I can be a famous mountain climber and she will be proud of me... Or at least not ground me. I found other things too that my mommy like like, like flowers I can get when I come back down and even a river. I looked in the water and at my reflection before I walked across since it was small.

The higher I got on the mountain, it got a little harder, so when I made it to a cave, I found a nice rock to sit on and rest. I put the camera down when I got tired of holding something and sat down for a while. I started to have second thoughts about climbing this mountain... Maybe a picture by a cave is good enough.

(Y/N)-At least I proved that there is no such thing as monsters.

When I got up to take the picture I left the flash on by mistake and saw roots all over the ground. I wondered what was in this cave, so I took another picture while looking inside and I thought I saw a big hole just covered in roots... I walked up the hole and looked down before I picked up a rock and dropped it in the hole to see how deep it was... I didn't hear anything and it was a big rock too.

(Y/N)-HELLO!!! *echo*

I heard 7 echoes before it got quiet then decided to get on my knees and put the camera down before I yelled into the hole some more then I heard something... Above me... Bats.

(Y/N)-AAAAAHHHHHHH!!!

They were flying around me and screeching, but not touching me. I tried to shoo them away but I lost my balance and tripped on a root and fell... and fell... and fell.

(Y/N)-AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

Is this it?... Am I going to die?... I don't wanna die! I couldn't breathe while I was falling and passed out.

(Y/N)'s mind-Mommy... Help me.

(Timeskip ???)

I felt so hurt and dizzy but felt something soft. I slowly opened my eyes, thinking I just had a bad dream and fell out of bed... That's when flowers got in my eyes when I sat up still feeling lots of pain that made me cry a little but knowing where I was in a dark and scary place until I looked up. It was the hole... THAT I FELL IN!!!

(Y/N)-HEEEEELLLLP!!!... SOMEBODY HELP ME!!!

... But nobody came.

(Y/N)-Mommy!... Anyone! *hic* *hic* *sobbing*

I sat down and cried very hard until I almost got sick from crying so much then looked around. I tried my best to get up, but it was hard and made me cry a little more. I don't know how long I was out, but maybe this tunnel is a way out...

(Y/N)'s mind-My mommy is going to ground me for the rest of my life when I get home.

I slowly went down the dark tunnel, scared when I thought about the story of the monster and the boy.

(Y/N)-Monsters are not real. Monsters are not real. Monsters are not real.

I made it to a fancy-looking gate with a picture on top on top of it and when I looked inside, I saw a flower in a bit of light, so maybe if I hurry, I can get home before dark. When I walked into the room and limped a little on my sore... everything, I jumped when I heard a girl's voice...

???-Howdy!

I looked around the room, but I didn't see anyone.

???-*Giggles* Down here.

I looked down and saw the flower again... This time, it had a face and was alive which made my body freeze and shake. I couldn't even scream, but my mouth was open.

???-Howdy! I'm Flowey! Flowey the flower. You must be new to the underground, aren't cha? Golly, you must be so confused. Someone ought to teach you how things work around here. I guess little old me will have to do.

I still could not move until I fell back on my butt and the flower laughed a little at me.

(Y/N)-M-Monsters... a-a-are n-n-not... r-... r-...

Flowey-Real?... Of course, they are real... Hmmm, you're actually the second oy to fall down here. How about a game? It'll be fun.

(Y/N)-A... game?

Flowey-That's right. If you can make it to the end of the underground without being caught, you get to go home... You want to go home,... right?

(Y/N)-... Yes.

Flowey-Then you better get moving. Before something happens. ~

(Y/N)-Before what happens?

Flowey-... *Giggles* This. ~

I saw little white dots pop out of the air and Flowey's face changed into something with weird teeth and a scary face. My body shook even more when I got even more scared.

Flowey-On your mark... Get set... GO!!! HAHAHAHAHA!!! ~

One of the dots hit me and it really hurt. I started screaming and running when Flowey went underground and popped up behind me. When I got out of the room, the dots stopped coming and the laughing stopped. I looked back in the room to see that Flowey was gone, but I kept on running. I made it up some stairs before my legs gave out and I hit the ground crying again.

(Y/N)'s mind-I don't wanna be here anymore! I just wanna go home! I WANT MY MOMMY!!!

(???'s POV)

In the middle of my daily walk to watch for humans and take care of the flowers, but then I started to hear someone crying. It caught me off guard, but I picked up the pace until I made it to the stairs and saw a human on top of the steps. Not only were they human... They were a little boy and they looked adorable as much as they were in pain.

He was crying and had his eyes closed, so he did not notice me. The poor thing must be so hurt and scared. I knelt down at his side, but he flinched at my touch. I didn't pull away though and used my healing magic to take care of his injuries, but he was still scared.

Toriel-*Shhhhh* Hush little one. Everything is alright now. ~

He slowly started to calm down and stop crying. I had to hold myself back from picking him up... For now.

((Y/N)'s POV)

I didn't hurt at all anymore and I felt a warm hand on my arm. The voice I heard just sounded so smooth and soft. When I stopped crying and rubbed my eyes, I opened them and saw another monster and backed away a little until I hit the wall and she stood up.

???-Please, do not be afraid my child. I mean you no harm.

She walked up to me and held out her hand with a warm smile. I think her touch healed me or something... I slowly took her hand and she helped me up, but I was still nervous and looked down a little.

???-Awwww, don't you just look adorable. ~ My name is Toriel, caretaker of The Ruins.

(Y/N)-... I-I'm (Y/N).

Toriel-You're the last human to fall in a very long time. You must be so tired and frightened... Here, I will take you to my home to rest.

She picked me up and I felt so scared at first, but she felt so soft and warm then her fingers started to scratch my head... I still felt really nervous, but I also felt safer than I did with Flowey.

Toriel-Much better... Do you prefer cinnamon or butterscotch?

(Flowey's POV)

That little brat has no idea what he is getting into or how lucky he is to be a 'he' down here... To some extent. This will be interesting to watch before I step in to have some fun of my own.

(Timeskip 15 Minutes)

((Y/N)'s POV)

Toriel carried me all the way to her house and I saw all kinds of monsters that looked a bit like girls I think. They all stayed away from us then we made it to her house which looked a little odd, but clean. When we got inside she took me to a room that had a toy chest and looked a little like a girl's room. She put me on the bed and gave me a kiss on my cheek then gently pet my head.

Toriel-Here, let's get you tucked in. You must've had a long day. ~

She lifted the blanket and I got in the bed for her to put the blanket over me. She made fire come out of her hands, but only to where it felt warm. When she stopped she sat by my side to rub my head.

Toriel-Close those eyes. I'll be right here until you fall asleep. ~

(Toriel's POV)

I stayed true to my word and enjoyed watching them fall asleep. When they did, they looked so precious and peaceful in bed. I could not even begin to explain how this made me feel on the inside, but I had to go prepare their surprise for them and get a few things tidied up. I quickly took care of what little cleaning needed to be done before I stepped into the kitchen to start the best dish that my last son loved... Butterscotch cinnamon pie. I started with the crust and moved on to the batter for the pie. When the pie was done, I just put it in the oven and used my fire magic to start cooking it. With time to spare, I went back to my child's room and he was right where I left him, but mumbling in his sleep a little.

I got closer, but I still couldn't make out what he was saying... IT WAS SO CUTE!!! After 6 wicked females that took everything from me passed through after I sent them on their way, except 1 that really got on my nerves, I finally get a cute little boy to call my own again.

Toriel's mind-We're going to be so happy here. ~

I rubbed his cheek a little in his sleep and he did the cutest thing ever by leaning into my touch. He was so scared and nervous when awake, but asleep, he is a complete sweetheart. I can't wait for him to get accustomed to his new home and his new mother. I wonder if he was a cuddlier or if I have to teach him to be a cuddlier...

Toriel's mind-Only time will time... Speaking of time.

I went to go rest in the living room and be close to the pie. When the time came for me to take it out, I heard a faint knocking. Seeing as my child was still asleep, I suppose I have time for my friend.

((Y/N)'s POV)

I was in some kind of garden or something with 2 thrones that looked like they belonged to a king and queen. It was so dark around here that I saw a light come through a door and heard giggling. I went to the light and sound and it led me to what looked like Toriel's house. I saw someone by a try and they were smiling when they pulled out a knife at me before I heard another voice.

I woke up and jumped a little then looked around to see I was in the room Toriel put me in... I really miss my room. I got out of bed to go find Toriel, but when I got out f bed and turned on the light, I saw something on the floor.

I was hungry and saw a fork on my table, so I got the fork and ate the pie that she must have left for me and it tasted so good. I just put the plate on the table when I was done eating.

(Y/N)'s mind-Alright, how do I get home?... Maybe Toriel knows.
