((Y/N)'s POV) age: 7

This was my first year at summer camp and at first, it was good until when I got here a week ago. All of the kids made fun of me when a few bullies picked on me and that I wasn't as good at the games and activities as much as the other kids. Last night the boys in my cabin put dirt in my bed to make fun of me and the counselors talked to them, but I know they wouldn't stop. It was lunch and they already made fun of me because they found out I called my parents to come get me, but they kept on telling me to give camp another try since they wanted me to have a fun summer.

(Y/N)'s mind-I HATE IT HERE!!!

I wanted to leave so badly and kids just keep on making fun of me then (B/N) and his friends came over to pick on me again. I tried to run, but they caught up to me, and (B/N) put his arm around me to keep me close to him.

(B/N)-Hey, where are you going pal?

(Y/N)-Leave me alone!

(B/N)-Calm down. We just wanna see something. I saw how good you were at swimming. How about you show the others?

(Y/N)-Let me go!

They all forced me to the lake and I tried to look around for the camp counselors and called for help, but we made it to the docks on the lake. I could hear them all laughing as they were about to push me in, but before they could I swung my head back and accidentally hit someone. When I turned back I saw (B/N) had a bloody nose and his friends just looked at him getting angry. He came over and kicked me in the stomach while his friends held me still. I was hit again and again until he shoved me into the water.

(B/N)-You hit me again and I'll make you run home to your mommy you faggot!

I was trying my best to hold in my cries while I got out of the water and onto the sand. Other kids were looking as I curled up on the sand and my belly, face, and chest hurt. I stayed where I was until I heard the consoles call all kids over for a hike today, but I really didn't want to do anything with any of them anymore. I just hid under the docks and went as far back as I could because if I couldn't see them, they can't see me. After a bit of waiting, I checked to see they were gone, so I finally let myself cry and thought about sneaking to the phone to call home again...

(Y/N)'s mind-Mom and dad won't listen... Nobody will.

I kept on crying until I looked over at the boats and paddles next to the lake and thought if I could get across the lake, I could hide somewhere or make it to a town to be at for the rest of the summer. Anywhere is better than here. I just wiped my tears and went to get changed into some dry clothes real fast then got what I could carry all of my stuff then went to the boats before they could come back.

(Y/N)-*Sniffle* Get me away from here.

(Timeskip 10 Minutes)

(Counsolers's POV)

We were all heading back to camp now early since a certain idiot I know missed a child during the head count. I know it's the kid that wants to go home early more than anything because a few other kids pick on him. When we made it back to the campsite we looked for (Y/N) and I checked his cabin first, but he wasn't there... In fact, some of his stuff was gone. When I left to go look some more I saw the guys over by the lake and a boat was missing then when I looked for it, I spotted it on the other side of the lake.

Counselor's mind-You gotta be shitting me.

((Y/N)'s POV)

I was walking deeper into the woods until I found a trail and thought it would lead somewhere or to someone to help get me home and far away from that camp, but when I got closer to the house, I saw it looked abandoned and broken.

With nowhere else to go and if I run they might see me and catch up, I just ran to the small house and opened the door to close it. It looked a little messy in here, but that was just holes in the floor and vines on the walls. Soon I peeked out the window to see if the counselors were getting close, but then I heard a door open behind me. I got scared since someone was here and I just broke into their house or... shack come to think of it, so I turned around and saw the other person here.

<figure></figure>

Her clothes looked as torn up, but clean as this place then she walked in and closed the door behind her.

(Y/N)-O-Oh, I'm sorry! I didn't think anyone lived here!

???-...

(Y/N)-I-I'm just trying to find a place to hide from the counselors from this mean camp then get home! I swear!

She only looked at me with a blank look on her and didn't really say anything... Now, this is starting to get weirder and scarier.

(Y/N)-Um... Hello?... What's your name? I'm (Y/N).

???-...

I looked at the cuts on her tummy and wondered if she was ok, but then she started to walk up to me. I thought she was going to take me back to those counselors and that camp where all the kids make fun of or bully me... I just slid down the wall to sit down and cry which made her stop.

(Y/N)-*Sniffle* *hic* *hic* Pl-Please, I d-d-d-don't wanna go b-back there. *whimper*

I buried my face in my legs to cry even more then we both heard the counselors outside. My body started to shake from the thought of going back and all of the kids and (B/N) are going to be even harder on me for this, I just know it! I quickly grabbed the woman's legs to hug one of them to rest my head on her foot.

(Y/N)-*Whimper* Please.

(Jessie's POV)

This was very odd. A child traveling at my feet asking for help and this also reminded me of how the counselors ignored me while the kids picked on me and then left me to drown in a lake. Their voices were just outside, but just then the child looked up at me with his pleading and tear-filled eyes, and quivering lip, and it reminded me of... That day.

Mother-They hurt him as they hurt you. Make them suffer Jessie. *echo*

Jessie's mind-... I will mother, but first...

I picked up (Y/N) and his gaze struck into my heart since I felt this pain too. I just thought of it as cuddling a bunny or another small animal when I pulled him close and felt his body still shaking. I just walked over to my couch in here and had him lie down then rubbed his head with one finger to stroke across his hair that felt clumped together from the lake's water.

Counsoler#1-(Y/N)! *in the distance*

Worry struck the poor boy and after all these years, the counselors have not changed at all. (Y/N) looked up at me with a bit of worry, so I leaned down to kiss his head like my mother would after I had a hard day at his age.

(Y/N)-I... I just wanna go home.

After I stroked his head a few more times I stood up and left my home, closing the door behind me before I grabbed an axe I keep next to my wood pile.

Mother-Kill them, Jessie. Now! *echo*

Jessie's mind-Yes mother.

(Counsoler#1's POV)

It was just the two of us looking for (Y/N) while the others were at the camp watching the kids and if we are not back by night then they will call the police to help in a search. We decided to split up and we both had a bottle of bear mace in case a bear or other predators show up. I was looking near a trail when all of a sudden I saw someone come out from behind a tree and they looked a little beat up.

<figure></figure>

Counselor-Oh my god, you're bleeding! Did an animal you?!

She had an axe with her and just stared at me while I walked up to her. I was about to offer to take her back to camp to get her cuts cleaned and bandages, but she suddenly threw her axe and before I could react fast enough to scream, I saw it heading between my eyes.

*SLASH*

(Counsoler#2's POV)

This would be a nice walk if we weren't looking for a runaway kid and after we decided to split up I made it to a road and then looked both ways to see if (Y/N) was here. Odds are he is following the road away from the camp, so I did the same. After a bit of the walk, I thought I heard something behind me, but when I looked, I saw nobody. It came from the woods and I got my bear mace ready in case it was an animal.

Counselor-(Y/N), is that you?

There was no response, but I didn't expect one since he was trying to hide and if it was an animal, they would have made themselves known by now. I walked into the woods to look around for who or at least what made that noise then I heard a noise behind a bush.

Counselor's mind-Gotcha kid.

I slowly walked over to the bush and then quickly jumped behind it only to see a chipmunk runoff.

Counselor-*Sigh* Of course. Why not continue the search?... (Y/-!

Just then I felt someone strong grab me by the back of my neck and I screamed a little before I reached for my bear mace to spray whoever was grabbing me from behind. The instant I grabbed the handle they grabbed my arm and...

*SNAP*

Counselor-AA-!!!

They pulled me into them and covered my mouth. All I could feel was pain then my vision blurred for a bit then the next thing I saw was my bone sticking out of my arm. Next, I was slammed to the ground then for a split second I looked up to only see the bottom of a boot coming down to me really fast.

*Crunch*

*SPLAT*

(Jessie's POV)

I think it was just these too for now, but there are bound to be more at the came that I need to get rid of. Right now, my job was done and I could already feel just how proud mother was of me for making these 2 pay and soon the others will too.

Mother-That's it, Jessie. That's my special girl. ~ *echo*

Jessie's mind-Thank you mother... Mother, I was wondering since I have been so good if I can have an award.

Mother-An award? *echo*

Jessie's mind-That boy, (Y/N). He's just like me when I was his age... I thought he could keep us company. You'll be a grandma.

Mother-... The answer is no... Unless you managed to kill them all 'tonight'. *echo*

Jessie's mind-And then I can keep him?

Mother-Of course my little angel. ~ *echo*

Jessie's mind-I'll make you proud!

I could feel her smiling while I walked back to my home and walked into an adorable site... (Y/N) was sleeping on my couch, probably from all his crying tiring him up, but it made my heart skip a beat... I walked up to him and a small smile curved on my face while I rubbed his head gently and was careful to not wake him up.

Jessie's mind-I know they hurt you, but when mother lets me keep you... They can't hurt you anymore... This will be your new happy home and... I will be your strong and loving mother. ~
