((Y/N)'s POV)

I slept in Mero's room last night in a sleeping bag on the floor while she slept in the water, but she did tell my fairy tale stories. None of them had very happy endings because someone dies in the story, and she loved the story "The Little Mermaid" the most even if the ending was about the man dying. Right now, I was in the living room, and we just finished breakfast and had to go shopping since now we have too many people in the house for the food we had and Miia tried to cook by herself again and ended up with Centorea not letting me eat it, so she made something herself. Papi wanted me and Suu to stay home to play with her, but Miia and Centorea didn't like that, and we were about to leave.

Centorea-There's a store not too far away that allows Demi-human.

Mero-Are we to wait for an escort to come?

Centorea-I have a special right that lets me roam outside alone, so just stary close to me and we should be fine.

Papi-Cen we get ice cream, and cookies, and pudding, and-.

Centorea-We are not just getting sweets. We need actual food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

We soon left the house and made it to the grocery store where there were all sorts of food that I never saw before at the orphanage and Papi tried to take me to where the cookies and stuff were, but I was on Mero's lap before I was put into a cart.

Papi-Hey, I wanna take him somewhere!

Miia-Keep your voice down. We don't need two children lost in this store.

Mero-Oh, it is no doubt a parent's worst nightmare to lose track of their child. Not knowing if they are safe or hurt or not, or maybe a bad adult could run off with him.

The others just looked at her while she had the same look she had whenever she would get to the bad ending of fairy tales and acted like it was a good ending... Mermaids are a little weird. Papi got bored and we kept Suu in a bucket with water that Papi was holding to keep her from jumping out on food or the people here. I was on Mero's lap while Miia was pushing us and Centorea got the cart to put things in like meat, fruits, vegetables before she moved on to snacks and treats and I never had fresh baked cookies that were still warm before, so I was kinda excited for that. I never saw so much food in one spot before and this store even did free samples at small tables, and some were very good. While we were still shopping a man came up to us and he was smiling almost like the man in a stranger danger video.

I remember not to take candy from them, let them touch me, or talk to me. He then put his camera to his side and looked at all of us.

???-I couldn't help but notice that since I don't see a host of age around, you might be in this new program I heard a little about.

Centorea-Very well. Schedule an appointment with the head of the Interspecies Adoption Program and we will gladly do an interview in our home.

Just then we walked by him, and he didn't look so happy while we went back to shopping, and I think I found my new favorite part of the store...

(Centorea's POV)

Even if he is the real deal, I wouldn't dare risk anything to compromise our safety and privacy. After getting some final treats in the ice cream isle, we went to pay for our food and I was used to heavy lifting then we put two bags on the handles of Mero's wheelchair, Miia had four hanging on her arms to show off, and we put a light bag on (Y/N)'s lap before we started to head home.

Centorea-We should report this to Ms. Smith if that man tries to push this further without talking to her.

Mero-How tragic. He probably wanted to poison our child's mind by-.~

Miia-Would you cut it out, tragic addict!

Papi-Hey, we got ice cream, right?

When we made it home, we let (Y/N) play around the house, but he wanted to help us and it was adorable then when we were done, he went to go play outside with Papi and Suu, so we went out to join him since we don't have to worry about lunch for a little while.

The family played outside, but it was getting hot for Mero, so they got into bathing suits then turned on the sprinklers to play in the water. Meanwhile Kasegi walked back home empty handed, and he wished he got inside since the video and maybe some leftovers from their bodies would be worth a fortune. He could make do with the thread he could sell, but he still wasn't happy when he got home to see webs were all over his home.

Kasegi-*Grunt* Are you kidding me?!

???-Someone's back home early. Did you screw this up already? And after I did the heavy lifting and found this little program.~

Just then, the threads were pulled and trapped the man in a cocoon of webs and decided it was too bright out to make a move. She came down and poked the man to get small reactions out of him while all he could do is struggle from a prison he can never escape on his own and scream not nearly loud enough for anyone outside to hear him.

((Y/N)'s POV)

I tried asking my moms if that camera man was going to come someday and they said that they didn't want him here because he was creepy and maybe trying to hurt us. I guess it's a good thing he didn't come back home with us. They even told me if I ever see him near our home, I should come inside and tell them to call 911. Right now, Centorea was giving me a bath while Miia was cleaning the kitchen, Papi and Suu were playing, and Mero was in her room.

Centorea-Arms up.

I did what she said and the scrub brush kinda tickled and I leaned back into her when I couldn't sit still that well. After she was done cleaning me, I wanted to play some more before bed, but she started to wash herself.

Centorea-Splash around in the water for a bit sweetie. Mother has to get clean too.

(Y/N)-Can we have dessert?

Centorea-Not tonight. I know you're full of that steak dinner you had.

I just got in the bath and pushed myself off the walls to pretend I was flying. I never played this much back at the orphanage, but now I feel like I can. Later we got out of the bath and it was close to my bed time, so she took me to my room to get me dressed.

(Y/N)-Can I stay up with all of you? I bet Papi and Suu wanna play too.

Centorea-Sorry sweetie, but it's time to settle down... We can play in the morning after breakfast. Anything you want, but you have to be a good boy and go to sleep.

Just when she dressed me and tucked me in, she got the others to come in to say goodnight to me and gave me kisses before they left and closed my door. I was just getting really cozy with my eyes closed, but then I heard something coming from my open window then thought the screen might be gone... I'll tell my moms in the morning, so I tried to go back to sleep, but while my eyes were closed... I felt someone grab me and wrapped me in something so fast that I felt very dizzy and passed out. I didn't even have that much time to even be scared because i think I was half asleep.

(Timeskip 30 Minutes)

(Miia's POV)

I was about to call it a night, but I wanted to take a quick peek at my sleeping little angel in his bed. I remember how shy he was and how playful he is now except when it came to new people like that creep. When I opened his door my heart quickly sank when I saw he wasn't in bed, so I quickly went to check the bathrooms upstairs and the other rooms too, but there was no sign of him until I went back to his room and noticed the screen on his window was taken off.

Miia-AAAHHHHH!!!

((Y/N)'s POV)

I waking up and felt something in my mouth that was like a stick rope then I opened my eyes to see I was hanging above the ground a bit. My arms and legs were tied up to then I flinched when someone pushed on my knee to make me swing a little.

???-*Chuckles* Well hello little man.

I heard someone walking like that had high heels, but it was a lot of them and soon I found out they weren't high heels.

Even if I hate normal spiders from the time a sack hatched in my old room and one of the adults said they were poisonous, she did look pretty. I was still scared from what she was going to do to me then she just rubbed and scratched my cheeks.

???-How does it feel to only be hanging by your legs and your mouth? You look adorable like that.~

It did feel kinda nice, but I turned away from her a little while she laughed.

???-If i'm not mistaken, you must be (Y/N). My name is Rachnera Arachne.

Just then she cut what might be her web out of my mouth and I hung upside down until she lifted me back up to face her.

Rachnera-I wanted to talk to you for a bit now. Ever since you left that orphanage.

Maybe she wasn't a bad person, she might just be angry and sad. That man must've been mean to her like the others at the orphanage were mean to me, so maybe she just needs someone to be nice to her to change her mind. I did my best to swing to her, but I wasn't very good at it without someone pushing me.

(Y/N)-People were mean to me too.

Rachnera-Huh?... What does that have to do with anything?

Just then a bright light came through the windows and it Rachnera grabbed me and pulled me to where the light wasn't. I then heard a voice that I recognized.

Ms. Smith-Rachnera Arachne, we have the building completely surrounded and know of the crimes you committed! Come out or we will send special forces in!

Rachnera looked a little mad and I don't want her to get in trouble by something she did when she was just mad like I did myself. Maybe I can talk to Ms. Smith and prove it to her, but I need proof and since he was a bad man, bad people like to hit others.

(Y/N)'s mind-Maybe she has a bruise somewhere.

(Rachnera's POV)

I peeked out the window and couldn't see Ms. Smith out there, but it did look like they really did have the place surrounded. I don't know how they found us in only a little over an hour, but I need to think of a plan for escape. Just then I felt (Y/N) touching my spider legs, so I looked down to him and it looked like he was inspecting them.

(Y/N)-My moms said that the man with a camera was a bad man and he wanted to hurt us, so if you were with him, he might've hurt you.

Rachnera-... Huh?

(Y/N)-I've done bad things when I was mad too before. Maybe you didn't mean it.

I have no idea if this was an act or if he was just being stupid to put his trust in the good of me even if he only just met me. I just turned and looked down to him and he just looked into my eyes instead of my boobs that were now hanging down which always gets a pervert's attention.

Rachnera-You think i'm doing this because i'm mad?

I picked him up to used him as a hostage, but then he wrapped his arms around my neck to hold on to me and got closer too. I saw no fear, disgust, or anything bad in his eyes...

That confused look on his face made a smile curve on my face and snicker to try and hold back my laughter.

The pure ignorance, oblivious mind, and innocence of the child were unbelievable to this child because he also believed his experience with his bullies were anything like what she's been through. The crowd of police and the new MON squad could hear what was going on inside and were confused to hear laughing and (Y/N) questioning why she was laughing.

We were done telling Ms. Smith what happened, and it turns out Rachnera was through a lot that was kinda worse than just hitting her. I felt sorry for her, but when I was told of the rules of no monster can hurt a human and the same goes another way and that includes her taking me here and I guess she tied up the mean man too.

Ms. Smith-I apologize for the negligence on the behalf of the Cultural Exchange Program, and I will have to deport you-.

(Y/N)-No, wait! If she was sold to that guy and he was mean to her, does she deserve a second chance?!

Ms. Smith-Sweetie, I didn't finish what I was going to say...Under the law, I will have to do this, but considering the results of our last encounter, I think I can take a chance with you.

Rachnera-You know, i'm glad you feel that way but i'm afraid that I can no long trust the Cultural Exchange Program. I think I will like a change of pace in another program... Perhaps one where I can adopt a child or rather be apart of a family in a house already holding multiple demi-humans and a small boy.

Ms. Smith-I see where you're getting at, but there is already a large number of mothers in that house. Would you rather have a child to care for yourself.

Rachnera-And what child would want a mother that's part spider?... I can think of one.

I forgot how boring the paperwork will be because she said when we get back home, my paperwork should be waiting in my room which I choose it will be the attic for a simple remodel instead of adding a room. I kept on eye on those 4 with my new son and while the big one was cooing him, he was looking at me and waved, so I humored him and waved back.
