(Peach's POV)

The little boy Daisy and I found was in a bubble bath right now to cover his lower body in bubbles and to also play a little, but he didn't really play with the bubbles to almost no surprise. I was watching him while Daisy was making sure the Toads were cleaning his clothes and getting him some shoes for after I disinfect and wrap his feet up. When he was done cleaning himself, I gave him a towel and turned to let him dry himself off, but it was hard for him to stand right now, so he sat and did it. He wrapped himself in a towel in a way it was a like a cloak to him before Daisy came in with his clothes.

Daisy-They just finished cleaning them. Are you able to dress yourself?

???-Y-Yes.

Daisy-Here.

She gave him his clothes and we stepped out, but remained close to the door to listen in, in case he needed some help. When I heard wincing I peeked in to see him fully clothes, but trying to walk, so I went to him and picked him up.

Peach-You shouldn't walk right now until we clean those cuts on your feet. Here, sit down and this might sting a little.

I sat him on a sink and Daisy came over with a first aid kit and the hardest part for him was the rubbing alcohol stinging his feet as it cleaned them. After that I gently, but firmly wrapped them up to make sure blood could still flow threw then carried him to my couch in my room for Daisy and I to sit next to him.

((Y/N)'s POV)

Peach and Daisy were on both of my sides and looking at me and this was making me kinda nervous. Peach grabbed a brush to gently brush my hair after it got a little more dry and it did feel kinda nice then Daisy scooted a little closer to me to lean me on her.

Peach-If you're ok to talk now. Can you tell us your name? My name is Princess Peach of the Mushroom Kingdom.

Daisy-I'm Princess Daisy.

I already knew that about them and I still don't know what to think about all of this, but I guess telling them my name couldn't hurt.

(Y/N)-I-I'm (Y/N).

Peach-Such a nice name. Now you don't have to answer this, but... can you tell us what happened to you? Maybe we can help.

(No POV)

(Y/N) hesitated because he wondered if they would even believe him, but soon he decided to tell them he was lost after something weird happened. He was careful not to mention that they were just in video games he played then he noticed something in the corner of the room inside a glass item box you can look into.

(Daisy's POV)

Peach and I was both lost on how to help him exactly if even he didn't know exactly what happened, but now he was interested in the lucky bell Peach keeps for memories and emergencies. It was not like he could touch it as long as it was in its glass box to keep it from rolling around until it transforms someone. You need special gloves or something to handle it directly, but Peach brought it over to him.

Peach-Does this look familiar to you?

(Y/N)-Um... No.

Peach-Oh, you just think it looks pretty.

Just then we heard his stomach growl and I think food sounds great right now, so we headed to the dining room and Peach went to go tell the chefs that it will be a dinner for 3. When we all sat at the table he looked nervous still, so I sat a little close to him to try and comfort him. The food came out it was just some chicken with some salad and for a treat, they brought out a cake. Peach and I started some small talk and tried to do it with him, but the most we could get out was a few words at a time. It was clear he still didn't feel comfortable and maybe we needed to be a bit more direct.

((Y/N)'s POV)

Peach and Daisy took me to a living room or something since there was books everywhere on the walls and a few couches with a table in the middle. Daisy whispered something to Peach before Peach came over to me to sit down then put me on her lap. I still don't know how to take all of this because I did imagine about being in a Mario game sometimes, but now I actually am in one and sitting on Peaches lap while she was petting my head a little now.

Peach-There, there. This must be such a hard time for you right now. I should have a good number of guards being sent out to try and find your home. Just relax right now.~

Daisy even leaned over to rub my cheek a little and I never had a mom before, so I was not used to this at all and my face burning up which made the giggle and made it worse for me.

Daisy-Are you ok? We're only petting you. *giggles*

(Y/N)-I-I... Um...

Peach-She's just teasing. I'm sure you're only used to you mother doing this.

(Y/N)-I... don't have a mom.

Peach-Oh, i'm sorry to have brought it up.

(Peach's POV)

Daisy and I were both kinda shocked to hear that he didn't have a mother to care for him and for all I know he doesn't have a father. I better not touch that subject anymore, but it was still sad because every child needs someone to care for them like this and can tell he likes this even if he's being shy about it. I held him a little firmer and he did feel nice and he's around the same height as Mario without a growth mushroom. It was kinda adorable and I could just dote on him since he was a child... I guess I always wanted to be a mother a settle down, but that's hard to do when you have an evil turtle tyrant constantly trying to catch me.

Peach's mind-This is rather nice. No kingdom duties, no crazy adventure while waiting for someone to rescue me... Is this what being a mother is like?

I kept on going and felt (Y/N) lean into me on his own and at first it was because he could finally relax with us which would be a quick change of heart. Soon though I heard soft snoring and I turned to Daisy covering her mouth a little while smiling and blushing a little before I leaned over (Y/N) a little to see he was sleeping. It makes sense because after what he's been through and how we found him, but I think him being on guard was the only thing keeping him awake. I just took him to my bed to carefully tuck him in before I laid down next to him then Daisy got his other side. We both got a better look at him and it was like he suddenly didn't have a care in the world.

((Y/N)'s POV)

I was starting to wake up in in what felt like a bed then remembered I went to bed before all this happened to me. It felt so nice and familiar then I thought about everything and I guess it would all make sense.

(Y/N)'s mind-That's right. It was all a dream. Just a long dream.

I heard a door open with a bit of an echo before I opened my eyes to see I was in a big fancy room... Peach's room.

(Y/N)'s mind-Maybe it's a dream inside of a dream.

I pinched myself again to feel it hurting and that's when a gasp before I looked up to see Peach running to me and it was almost night time when I could see out the window.

She held up the arm I pinched and looked at the red mark I left before she tried to kiss it better before she looked at me then pulled me into a hug.

Peach-You shouldn't hurt yourself. You must've been so scared all alone again. Here, I know what you need more of.~

She put me on her lap again before I could say anything and when I did try she would put her finger to my lips to shush me while she pet my head like she did earlier. It did feel nice, but my face was heating up again, but my cheeks burned when she kissed them.

Peach-Awwww, I have some yummy dinner coming up for us. Daisy had to go back to her kingdom, but she can't wait to see you again and promises to help you find your home. I even have a few new toys over in the corner just for you to play with.~

She looked at the corner, so I did too and it was just some stuffed Mario animals like Yoshi's, caterpillars, and stuff like that, a few balls, some board games, and some cards. She took me to them and looked at me like she was waiting for me to pick one and I didn't feel like playing yet, so I just grabbed a stuffed animal to hold and she blushed. I did the same because I only get looks like that from women that think i'm cute and I never thought I would get it from a video game character.

(Peach's POV)

Daisy really didn't want to leave, but she had a kingdom to get to as well and we both agreed we couldn't move him around too much or else he can't adapt. It also made me so happy that he got to stay, but after what I just say, it was also clear I had to watch him more carefully. He just held his stuffed toy I got him and looked adorable to the point I just wanted to hold him forever.

Peach's mind-... You never did have the love of a mother and I never had a son to love... I don't see the harm of doting on you until we... "if" we find your home.~

(Timeskip)

We were just finishing some dinner and I had (Y/N) on my lap the whole time since too many servants were out here which made him feel a little overwhelmed. He was nice and full just like me, so we left the table to go in my room for a bath for him and I put him on the couch in my room before I got another bubble bath ready for him. When I made it back I could see him look a little droopy and that might be from the turkey we just had.

Peach-Come on, bath time. You also look really tired, so i'll help you out.

He did blush and I understand his concerns, but he will be the only one in the water with a few bath toys while I just take my gloves off to scrub him. I did take off his clothes and had another outfit made for him for bed while his clothes get cleaned again over night. When I put him in the water I also got to work while letting him play a little. During the bath something slipped out that I thought I was just saying in my head at first...

Peach-Awwww, you just look so cute covered in bubbles.~

He tensed up a lot and his whole face turned pink and I used the tip of my fingers to try and hide my smile from him. I didn't mean to say it out loud and make him flustered even if I did find it amusing. I just got him all cleaned up and even played with the bubbles with him by scooping some into my hands then blowing on it then he copied me kinda shyly. I... I never want to lose this feeling then a thought accrued.

Peach's mind-A parent losing their child for any reason just shows how careless they are.

If I find the father or whoever was caring for him before will have to be approved by me and if so much as one little thing is not to my standards, then they will not have him back. As princess, it's my duty to make sure everyone has a better and safer future.

After Peach took (Y/N) out of the bath to put him in her bed where she can see him during her bath and made sure the doors and windows were locked to improve his safety, so made up her mind that she will not simply give (Y/N) back to the "Irresponsible caretaker" and ban them from her kingdom for "putting a child in an unsafe environment". Meanwhile in the Koopa Kingdom, it was split into too as Bowser's wife took half by force as well as her 2 daughters. She had a plan to show her "incompetent husband" how to really succeed in an attack and that was after she threw him into lava to really show him that she was done with him for a long time since he always goes after someone else... Princess Peach. She knew her ex-husband will live since he fell in lava too many times to count, but this was meant to add salt on the wound.
