(Cream's POV)

I was starting to wake up and felt like I was on grass before I opened my eyes and saw the night sky full of stars. I was happy that Sonic saved me like I always knew he would, but when I got up to see him I saw he wasn't there or anyone. I even saw no signs of anything that got blown up, but I was more confused and scared as to where my friends were.

Cream-Sonic?... Ch-Cheese?... Hello?

I walked around to try and friend them until I saw something like a home off in the distance and maybe I can find some help or my friends see it too and are heading there right now. They might already be there, so I just started to walk there and knowing Sonic, he'll know how to help.

((Y/N)'s POV) age: 5

My nanny was cleaning the dishes from dinner and today was so boring again since my nanny doesn't really like to play games. All she does is work, homeschool me, and go on her phone to talk with her friends. I have lots of video games and I can go online to play with others, but all the mics have to be mute and I can't have a headset, so I can't talk to anyone. Our house is even away from the city and we have a fence all around us, so it's not like I can go out to look for friends or they can come over. Even if my mom and dad do send "friends" over, they're kinda mean most of the time. Right now, I was getting ready for bed after I already had a nap my nanny made me take, so I wasn't tired at all and when I looked in the mirror, I saw I was wide awake.

When I finished brushing my teeth I just got out of the bathroom before I saw my nanny looking at me.

Bri-Alright, it's almost bedtime.

(Y/N)-Um,... can I just stay up a little longer since I just took a nap? We can watch a movie or something.

Bri-No can do. You earned that nap after you interrupted me on the phone with your mother. You can watch your movies or play games tomorrow for the weekend before we do more home-schooling lessons.

(Y/N)-Will you play with me?

Bri-We'll see, now off to bed.

She pushed me to my room and I knew when she said "We'll see" meant that she didn't want to. I got to my room and she tucked me in real fast before she got a call then just left me in my room with my nightlight on, but I couldn't sleep. I had just gotten out of bed when I saw the hall light from under my door turn off and went to my desk where I have my PC and went online to play some games with the volume off, so she didn't hear me. I played only one level before I didn't feel like playing anymore after I looked at a copy of the award my daddy won which made me think of him. I never had any fun here that lasted for very long because my mommy and daddy were always busy.

(Y/N)'s mind-I wish... I just wish I had someone, anyone that actually cares about me.

(Cream's POV)

I was almost to the house and saw some creature that looked like a lady walk out of a gate and locked it behind her before she got into some kind of robot thing like how Eggman would make.

???-Relax, I can stay the night. I just need to be back early in the morning... They are in the house, locked up tight with the security system armed... If one of the entries gets touched a way it doesn't like, police will be here in a matter of minutes, and to top it all off, nobody ever comes out here on their own.

She left, but from what she said, there's someone else here that I can ask for help from. I just spun my ears really fast to fly over this stone wall with pointy bars at the top before I walked up to the house and it looked a lot bigger. I was tired since flying takes a lot of concentration and effort for me, but it was worth it to get in here. I wanted to look around before I bothered whoever was inside and I think I made it to the backyard and saw a pool back here. I walked up to it since it looked pretty, but suddenly a lot of lights came on and now I was worried if I bothered or made whoever was here think I was breaking in to hurt them.

Cream's mind-What if they try to hurt me for being here?!

I quickly hid in a bush before anyone could see me.

((Y/N)'s POV)

I saw a light out of my window from the backyard, so I looked out to see if Bri was out there, but I didn't see her or anyone. I was curious, so I left my room to go find Bri in case something was going on and I didn't care if I got in trouble. She'll just tell me to go back to bed or something and I really think she's not going to play with me tomorrow no matter what.

(Y/N)-Bri!... Bri!

There was no answer and when I got to her room, she wasn't there. I was getting a little scared until I thought that must be her outside, so I headed to the backyard just to be sure and when I got outside, it was cold out here. It doesn't help since my hair was still a little wet from the bath I took.

(Y/N)-Bri, are you out here?!

There was still no answer and I went by the pool to see if anything made these lights go off, but there was nothing in there.

(Y/N)'s mind-If it wasn't Bri that made these lights turn on, what did?

*Rustle*

I turned to the bushes where the noise came from then I saw them move again with another rustle.

(Y/N)-Hello?... Are you an animal?... I won't hurt you, come out.

I got down since it was probably an animal and maybe I can keep them as a pet, but I don't know what Bri would do since she said she doesn't want to take care of one or clean up after them.

???-... Wh-Who are you?

(Y/N)-Huh?

I just put my hand down since this was not an animal, but they sounded like a girl. I don't know how they got in here and I was getting nervous. I just backed up but tripped over myself then hit the back of my head on the small tables out here. I held the back of my head as I started to cry while I was curling up and lying down.

???-Oh my!

I heard someone coming closer, but my eyes were closed from the pain then I felt them touch my hands a little to try and move them. I think they were also wearing gloves, but I didn't care that much right now.

???-Please, let me see.

She moved my hands before I felt her rub my head where it didn't hurt and my crying was starting to stop a little bit.

???-You're going to be ok. We just need some ice. Let's get you back inside.

I started to open my eyes to see who was helping me and when I saw who it was... I had no idea what to think or maybe I just hit my head too hard.

She helped me up and I was kinda taller than her, but she made it to my chest or at least that's what I can see. When it didn't hurt that much anymore, she helped me back in the house and I still had no idea what to say about this as she closed the door.

???-I think I see your kitchen. I'll go get some ice.

Her voice was so soft as she ran to the kitchen and opened the bottom part of the fridge and came back to me with an ice pack then gave it to me. I slowly put it on my head and it hurt a little bit, but I was more focused on her then she gave me a look like she was kinda confused.

???-Excuse me, but why are you looking at me like that?

I just stared some more until I wanted to be sure, so I reached for and touched her ears and kinda played with them which made it laugh a little.

(Cream's POV)

I was sure that this was a child and he meant me no harm. He was playing with my ears while looking a little curious and I let him in case I would hurt his feelings by stopping him, but it also kinda tickled me. I let out a few giggles before he stopped and he wasn't even tearing up anymore.

???-Are... you real?... Wh-Who and what are you?

Cream-Oh, well my name is Cream... What's your name?

???-(Y-Y/N).

I guess I must be new to him like he is to me, but I can tell that he doesn't want to hurt me. He was actually very sweet and maybe that was his mother had just left or maybe not since he was calling out for "Bri", but that does seem a little strange to leave such a young boy alone at night. You're supposed to stay with them to make them feel safe and loved. I don't think I should say such personal things right now.

Cream-Excuse me (Y/N), but do you think you can help me? I lost my friends after something happened. Even letting me stay here to stay put until my friend Sonic comes to help me. He always comes through and is very nice.

((Y/N)'s POV)

I remembered the wish I made or maybe this was all a dream, but either way, she was really nice and I don't see why I wouldn't help her. I don't know about Bri since she doesn't like animals in case this is not a dream. She also talked more about her friend Sonic and not only that, she was a very cute bunny rabbit, so I would feel bad if I said no to her, even if she's not real.

(Y/N)-Well... I can take you to my room and we got lots of food if you're hungry.

Cream-Really? Thank you.

We went to the kitchen and she just took some strawberries from the fridge before we went to my room and she saw all my toys and games in here. I showed her some of my toys and games and she played with some of my toys with me which was actually kinda fun, but when she was done eating, she looked tired and got on my bed. She all the way to the other side before she laid down while looking at me.

Cream-Are you coming to sleep too?

(Y/N)-I'm actually not tired.

Cream-But you can't stay up late. I'm sure you have a bedtime... or is it that you don't want me in your bed?... I'm sorry.

(Y/N)-N-N-No, it's ok!

I just got in bed to keep her from getting sad or making her feel bad which made me feel bad, but when I got in bed and laid down a bit away while looking at her I just got comfy and closed my eyes. I was thinking about whether this was a dream or not, but this was actually really fun even if we only played a little bit, and to top it all off.

(Y/N)'s mind-She's so cute!~

(Cream's POV)

I was watching (Y/N) go to sleep and he had a small smile on his face still from when I played with him a little. It just made him so happy to play before bed and when I closed my eyes, I still thought about what happened from with Dr. Eggman, right to this moment, but what I also thought was...
