((Y/N)'s POV)

I was actually very cozy under Aponi now and the weight was helping me go to sleep. Others came in talking about a meeting that I heard from under her and she had to watch me... She just kept on sitting on me while doing something in her nest. I closed my eyes after I got too tired and ended up taking a nap. By the time I woke up, I saw a little light peeking into my eyes before I wiggled my head out a little. When I did, something was shoved into my mouth. It was some kind of fruit and it took me a bit to realize it was watermelon and some other kind of fruit. I looked up at Aponi and looked outside to see it was dark out still.

Aponi-Well good morning. You were tired. You went to sleep before me and we all woke up before you to hunt for breakfast. ~

She finally got off of me to pick me up and put me on her lap to feed me more fruit while being cradled in her arm. She asked me something that scared me a little.

Aponi-Do you want me to chew your food for you and feed you like a little hatchling? ~

(Y/N)-What?! N-No!

Aponi-Giggles I'm just kidding. I may be a harpy, but I'm not an unevolved bird... But if you needed help with it someday, we are not past doing this for our sick or injured. ~

(Y/N)-No-!

Before I could say more she gave me another bite.

Aponi-That part is not asking. We take care of our sick and injured. The more energy saved, the faster they will get better.

She kept on feeding me with a wooden spork until it was all gone before she got another bowl and had something else. It had fruit, but also something else in it. After she was done eating what little was left in her bowl she took me with her outside. I saw mushrooms that Daddy told me about that glowed on the trees to light this place up a little. There were bridges from one tree to another and she went to another hut connected to a tree before she just walked in.

Aponi-Oh dear sister of miiiiine. Guess who's uuuuup. ~

We saw someone in the hut and it must be her sister. She turned to look at us and looked very happy while she puffed up her feathers.

Aponi-Say hello to my sister Veda.

Veda-AAAAHHHHHHH!!! 

She flew over to us so fast and took me from Aponi before she spun around in the air with me then kept on flapping her wings.

Veda-Oh my, you little cubs are just so squishy! Are you a different breed?! What other colors do you all come in?! You must be from another territory of humans or-! GASP!!! ARE YOU A RARE BREED?!?!?!

(Y/N)-Um-.

She started covering me in kisses before she landed and still held me in her arms. She even squeezed me a little.

Veda-Awwww, you feel like you will be so soft to sleep with. I even saw that my sister kept your warm last night like a little hatchling since you don't have fur or feathers to stay warm. Oh, you are going be a cub that can't out grow cuddling for warmth! ~

Aponi-Veda, take it slow with him. He even had a problem with chewing his food when he's sick.

Veda-Well we are going to take care of that. Yes. We. Are. ~

I tried pushing her away when she was giving me way too many kisses, but she was too strong and someone else came by.

Cynthia-I would ask why the cub is up so earlier, but it looks like he is coming with us now. Enola wants to have a follow-up meeting. This one is about him.

Veda-Oh, he's sitting with me!

Cynthia-You do realize it's still cold out and he has nothing to keep him warm, right?

Veda-What are you saying?

(Timeskip)

Enola-Hello, Little (Y/N). ~

She put me in her nest and in a way when she sat on me, my head was resting on her legs while also being far enough to pet me with her having to look straight down. The last person dropped in and she sat next to Enola.

Enola-I trust our prisoner took our warning and mercy?

Halona-She was reluctant but knew I would win in our fight. I still say we should've killed her.

Enola-She strayed away from her pack. It will happen in time. You know how their leader gets... Ahem With all of here, we will start. I want to talk about what to do with our new cub slave. We passed the information to Aponi while keeping the human cub warm, but with this new pact, we need ground rules.

Veda-What about offering a replacement for them?

Cynthia-They have all the humans and plan to trap more to farm them.

Enola-We are not going to be able to keep the cub all to ourselves, so we shall discuss limits. This has never happened in the history our our homeland and will change everything 'forever'. 

I know they were talking about me, but I don't know who else they were talking about.

(Y/N)-Who are you talking about?

Enola-Not now, Sweetie. You will get to talk when it's time. Here. ~

(Y/N)-But I just wanna know who you are talk-.

She put a wooden stick in my mouth before she poured something into it. It was sweet like strawberries and she smiled while rubbing my cheek before she went back to talking to the others.

(Nala's POV)

We made it to the human territory, but something was off. There was only a group of 5 humans leaving the territory on foot with no bang sticks. It was easy to pounce them, but they acted a little strange. They would usually start screaming or fighting, but one of them was still kicking their legs in the air like they were walking. We sniffed them to see if our baby's scent was on them, but we only smelled their filth and the Serpent Sisters on them as well as some kind of flower. After we killed them we all looked to the territory over a hill and there was hardly anything humans in sight, but then we saw Anusha come out with a bunch of human cubs holding onto a vine.

Sarabi-Is that all the cubs? Where is our cub slave?!

Mkali-We will go in and find out the hard way. growl

Sanaa-No!... The sisters have the humans under control and have their boom sticks and stuff. We need something more careful... We wait until we know where our cub slave is.

Kimya-Wait a second... Where's the other sister?

(Catori's POV)

All the elephants were distressed about a lost human cub they found that was kidnapped by a hyena. I wanted to come and offer them a place in this new arrangement, but Sita lied on the ground in front of me crying and begging.

Sita-Pleeeeaaaase! You have hic to help fi-f-find him! He is just sniffle so fragile and he is with th-those beasts! He should be safe in my-!

Catori-Ok, that'sss enough!... What doesss thisss cub look like and I ssshall help in exchange you join what my sssissster and I are making. ~

Sita-Sniffle U-Um...

(Timeskip 5 Minutes)

Catori-You. Did. What?! ~

Just then Rajini and her second got in between us.

Alani-Please, we didn't know at first, be we were skeptical. Sita found him with a hyena. Not the lionesses.

Catori-You ssshould have told me! ~

Rajin-I'm sure we can figure something out!... Please. We will join if you help prove his safety.

Catori-You will give them to me the 'INSSSTANT' you find them! Only then will we talk termsss, but do not expect them to be in your favor until you make it up to me and my sssisster! ~

Alani-But how will the terms of the cub be?

(Enola's POV)

Since this council will be in one location agreed upon, the sharing process will be easier, but in case for turns between a lot of us would always seem too long and cause the cub to stress. Maybe group activities will have him included and sleeping with one species group every night will be faster. In terms of protection it will also work, but to keep everything running and fair, we would need more to join. As for our little cub slave, he should have limited freedom to the area for others to be with him as well as play. Even with us warming him under us in our nests, it will make him warmer for the sisters so it will be a benefit for both of us. The elephants will also have a role to play. The more we talked about the rules like for bathing and such, (Y/N) got fussy. I just kept the tool we used to feed stubborn hatchlings in his mouth and gave him a steady supply of juice and tree sap.

Enola-Halona, keep our cub slave warm and quiet. I wish to stretch my legs.

We swapped places and she used her thighs to keep his head in place while she gave him a stern look until he stopped struggling and trying to talk. I say he will listen well so we will need to do little to train him.

Halona-If I may add a rule. If a problem is to occur like a hyena attack or something, we need to build a safe place to keep him. Like those cages made out of a material called metal. It will keep him safely in and the danger out.

Vega-Those things look cold and uncomfortable! I would stuff 50 human adults in a small one before I let anyone put him in those things!

Aponi-If it's for his safety... We just need to add more things to make it comfy.

Enola-Hmmmm... They are too heavy to left for anything that would keep a hyena out... Until we know the elephants are joining, Halona, you are on cub warming while we go see the sisters ourselves to discuss all of this.

Halona-What?!... With all due respect, Chief-!

(Timeskip 30 Seconds)

(Halona's POV)

They all left and I was stuck sitting on this human cub like he was a hatchling. I kept on giving him juice until it ran out and just kept the tool in. He made noises that sounded like a hatching trying to talk over me. When I looked down at him he went silent.

Halona-Are all you humans this pathetic even when you grow up? It seems without tools, you are defenseless. Look at you. No fangs,... no claws, a small mane, a small nose, soft lips, your skin is almost no tougher than a hatchling... And I'm talking about an adult human.

(Y/N)-Muffled and odd noises.

Halona-Don't try to argue. I know I'm right... I hope you know how lucky you are that the Chief likes these ideas the Serpent Sisters are proposing.

I looked at how pathetic and defenseless he was... I smiled and thought that nobody was here and he couldn't stop me, I could tease him as much as I wanted. I poked at his neck which made him giggle.

Halona-Oh, you're ticklish? ~

I pushed his head back and took the tool out of his mouth before I rubbed my feathers on his neck to make him laugh.

(Y/N)-HAHAHAHAHA!!! STOP!!! STOP!!!

Halona-Begging, are we? Will you do anything I say? ~

(Y/N)-HAHAHAHA!!! YYYEEEESSSS!!! HAHAHAHAHA!!!

I stopped and then slowly stood up over him when I had an idea to make the chief happy when she comes back.

Halona-Get up and follow... Actually, I'm going to just pick you up... If the Chief loves humans being pathetic, I will give it to her. ~

(Y/N)-Gulp... Wh-What are you gonna do?

I took him to a tree where we get a lot of sap from and grabbed some of my supply before I opened it and poured it on him. He closed his eyes and braced for more, but I would worry about bathtime if he still needs to learn to let others wash him...

Halona's mind-Maybe she will help wash me too. ~
