You do know that One Piece has plot points that might take 500+ episodes before they continue, right?? Like we only recently learned about one of them that was yeeted out in the 200 or w/e chapters/episodes at the start of the series, and now at 1k+ Episodes/chapters does said thread get continuation/resolution, for example. Oda has had the rough outline for the story from like the early 50 or w/e chapters until the final arc that is yet to conclude the story, even if some of the bits might change in their micro details, the outline still remains the same more or less

If you guys remember, Luffy was ready to fight them when Bellamy first slam his face into the counter but then decided not to fight after Bellamy laugh at their dreams and claims that power is everything in this new world and dreams have no worth. If Luffy just fight back and beat their ass, it will just prove what Bellamy said, power is everything. And that is why the black hair dude say Luffy won. The "power" that Bellamy held so high is not enough to crush their dreams.
