I hope you enjoy.

Whew, I knew Zach wouldn't betray Zorian, at least not of his own free will. I mean, there's still time betrayal, but I have faith. (:

David Tawater

Dear God I'm in shock. Are the angels evil in this realm. They are seeming to have zero empathy here at the agony they are damning the protagonist with. I need to reread the book again to understand what I missed.

Matthew M

he thought the gods [we] out there --last sentence; we->were

Dark Prophet

Well we already know the gods aren't good so its no real surprise that their servants are no better than they are.

Matthew M

That was great by the way, absolutely my favorite chapter now.

Dark Prophet

Oh and a few error corrections. "Sometimes, he thought the gods we still out there," - I think "we" should be "were". "How brazen and corrupt cam you be?" - cam should be can "..search for him – he had just showed up in class" - showed should be shown "Zach said, eyes lightning up in realization" - lighting not lightning

Andrew

Thank you!

I already corrected the first one, since it was the first typo reported, but thanks for the rest. Added to the list.

I've just finished catching up with all the chapters and now I'm sad I have to wait 3 weeks for the next instalment. Take all the time you need though, it is definitely worth the wait! As there are only a few chapters left until you finish the story do you have any plans/ideas for what you might do next?

Amazing chapter, defiantly one of my favorite. I asked before why Zack didn't let Zorian check his mind and this chapter answered it spectacularly. I always suspected that Zack had some contact with the angels but I didn't expect a death pact. I was so excited for Zorian and Xvim next meeting, now it might not happen because of the death pact.

Yeah, lots of ideas. Not entirely sure what I will go for, but I'm not lacking in options.

Adrien Matricon

Thanks for the chapter! Here's a typo I spotted: "Swearing loudly, Veyers hurriedly push himself from his desk, fell on his ass in his hurry to evade the fire drake, and then erupted into a short-ranged fireball centered on himself." => "push" should be "pushed"

Grond (James)

Man, this is getting so good!

I'd say that the angels are so concerned that mortals know of the primordial that they feel justified being extremely strict with Zach.
