The above is  TEST animation >_> it's not very well animated as I knew I'd be messing with the armature a lot and moving/deleting bones can break your animations- this was just to show the asshole controls + a bit of fun jigglin~

One of these days a real ass shaking animation will happen.

I decided to refine her rig further to include a few extra things such as more asshole controls, tongue, mouth controls, a nose control (used to prevent odd clipping during oral) and also I added a touch more detail to her horn rings :3

i did a couple other test animations but I had to scrap those as those too got kind of broken when changing the rig. The goal is to make a rig with juuust enough control to get the poses/deformation you want but also something that's not too complicated.

From what I've figured out, you really want to mess with as few bones as possible! That doesn't mean the rig doesn't have a lot of bones, just that the ones you actually transform in 3d space do a lot. The less time your fighting with the program, trying to select a bone or just tweaking a couple bones that don't even do much, the better.

These are the bones that will be manipulated during animation. As you can see, the face area is quite cluttered >_> and I want to avoid having tons of clutter... everything else I think is nice, simple, easy to select.

I've spent quite some time messing with constraints, drivers, etc... still learning when it's best to use what, but with each rig I get a step closer to understanding an effective rig and also what the ideal rig would be like for my particular needs.

One day, I'd really like to include lipsync but that's a bit ambitious right now and plus... I have no VAs. In the future though it'd be cool to have talking. Honestly, Jasmine(or "JC"), which btw her canon name is Jasmine as suggested and voted on on Twitter, she has enough range with the current face setup to do talking animations with...

The donkey rig, while I have made improvements to it as well and did some tests with it, aren't lip-sync capable and I'm on the fence about giving them more mouth detail (like teeth and a tongue)... We'll see.

Once I'm happy with her rig, I'll be make the .blend file available for download to frozen pizza patrons :3

Btw I recommend following me on Twitter as, if I'm working on something that might fall outside of the TOS I put it there, such as the dragon butt I was working on, mostly as a means of testing the donkey's rig.
