So cool to see you doing this one man, it's one of my all-time favorites! This was the first chapter book I can remember reading as a kid, and I still occasionally bust it out when I'm feeling down. Three Musketeers, too. Bless you, Mr. Dumas. Also- I'm with you, Mr. L. Boyd. It always bothered me that Mercedes didn't just tell Edmond that Fernand was trying to fuck her. I can understand why she doesn't, but I'd wanna know.

In the book no one recognizes him because he has aged and grown a beard, so he looks very different. It's harder to pull that off in a movie than it is a book, since you can't age the actor without risking makeup that looks unrealistic

I've noticed this happen in other movies. not sure the reason. I always assume someone came into the room and he had to cut it out or something along those lines.

The problem here is that I was in horrible tooth pain while recording this movie. I stopped way too many times during that scene and somehow I didn't record the screen properly. Totally my fault, sorry guys

why are there multiple moments where the video is skipped? Only other issue is that the sound is very quiet compared to your voice, and i know you would rather talk over it than pause. But when i have not seen the film before either, i find i need to crank up the volume to hear it, getting occasional BLASTS when you react over it. no issue with the reaction itself. I liked the callback to shawshank redemption. wouldn't have even brought the issues up if i hadn't had these happen with multiple videos you've posted of late. thanks for your continued reaction posts in spite of my many nitpicks :)

The day I recorded this movie I was in massive tooth pain, I had to stop several times to mitigate the pain and I stop the screen recording by accident in a couple of scenes. So I just cut those scenes out and a couple more moments because of me making terrible pain faces. I'm sorry about that, I'll work on getting better recordings

I am surprised that you didnt catch on to the fact about the son being The Count of MC. it was obvious from the start, they had just finished making love right before he disappeared from her life. You usually ccatch these things way before i do. I actually feel like i won a round lol.

Richard Harris is great as Abbe Faria🙂 This is definitely my favorite of Dumas stories😁 I think Dumas based many of his stories on the life of his father🙂
