The conversation ended with you insisting and Dierdre saying that she would think about it, but at the very least she would not switch. You were left wondering about her promise during practice the next day. Milk also remarked.
“If she goes to the Bees we could get snagged and she could get a hefty promotion.”
Synra panted. “Sh-she's probably reporting us right now.” She stated cynically.
“She isn't interested in getting promoted. Are you guys done resting yet?” You looked them over. It was rough and you were not any better. The number of you in the group was even, which was awkward even with your work around. It was an uphill battle. You stood up and prepared to go again. You all stopped as you heard a knock.
“We been had?” Nina questioned.
You answered the door to see Dierdre standing outside nervously. “Come on, let me in. Wont be good for anyone to see me standing out here.”
Your expression brightened. “You came!” You pulled her inside the hovel and closed the door. She looked around.
“Thought I should at least come and check out your troupe. Why don't you all show me what you got?”
Milk scoffed. “Why should we show you? Eve says you're a dancer but this is a new kind of dancing.”
Dierdre cracked her neck and did a few little stretches as she spoke. “Don't confuse learning a few steps with dancing. None of you are dancers.” She offered coldly, her tail swishing back and forth behind her.
“What do you know?” Milk argued.
“This is 'new' dancing that Eve's introducing fresh. You're as in the dark as the rest-” Milk stopped and stared as the girl suddenly began moving in front of them. It was the routine, but the fulfillment of the intent of the piece was realized. There were both no wasted movements, while also adding extra movements that made aesthetic sense. Each step flowed as if she had designed the routine herself. Once it was over she stopped with her back to them and turned to look over her shoulder at them, not even out of breath. Their jaws had dropped.
“Need I 'say' more?”
“N-no. Seems like you know your stuff.” Milk admitted.
You feel excited and a bit aroused from watching her. It is the intended reaction. You are pumped up and immediately left wanting more. The dance did not just show off her skill and finesse but also with the personal flair she added it made you want to know her more as a person. Unconsciously you could feel yourself beginning to Stan her. You shook it off.
“Damn, that's excellent! How did you grasp it so quickly?”
“I had to consider your intent in moving like that when you showed me. I spent all night thinking about it, then when I couldn't sleep are started practicing.” Dierdre sighed wearily.
“I knew the moment I couldn't stop myself from practicing that I couldn't ignore your pleas. This... This is something I've always had to do and I can't overlook the fact that you're giving me the power to finally do it. In short, this is my last chance.”
“You got so good with just a night of practice?” Synra seemed faintly annoyed.
Dierdre smirked. “A night? No, it's a groundwork of years put into theory and technique. As new as your dancing is, it's born out of concepts that we've had for centuries. They just ended up being put together in a completely new fashion.” She crossed her arms, staring at them seriously.
“I read into the intent of the moves. Triggering feelings of euphoria, excitement, arousal and obsession. I can hear the otherworldly beat in my head. Fast and jumpy... Music that does not exist here yet. What are you, Eve?”
You chuckled. “Let's set that aside for now. I think we found our lead dancer.”
“Her?” Milk lifted a brow.
“Just like that.”
“Do we actually wanna do this? You saw her. Her moves don't match ours. They're too good. She's born to be at the front. We'll be the backup to Dierdre. Is that okay?”
The girl did not seem surprised. “Yeah. I was gonna bring it up at some point. I was worried you'd let pride get in the way but it seems like you got the same idea as me. Leadership is something that requires constant innovation and adaption. There's a personality attached to the lead dancer in a Troupe, but the backup can learn and dance through memorization so long as the leader is eye-catching enough.” She explained.
“Make sense?”
Milk nodded. “Yeah. Makes sense to me.”
“So... We practice around her now?” Synra asked.
“Problem?”
“No, I was just making sure...”
You nod. “How do we know when we're ready, Dierdre?”
“You were captured by Warriors, right?” She asked.
“That's right. They were tough. Their dancing was good.”
“Their dancing was nothing.” Dierdre corrected. You blinked and waited for her to explain further.
“All the Elites and the Bees in charge reached an unbeatable sate. The passive hypnosis has a quality of mass hysteria. If you dance well enough, you can trigger that. It materializes as music to match the dancing. Hearing music marks the beginning of a high level battle for dominance between two Beefolk. It only ends when one person's music stops and they are completely sucked into the resonance of the other.”
“Okay... So we go until we hear music?” You asked.
She shook her head gravely. “We can't do that.”
“Why not?”
“When you reach the point of triggering Hysteria it sends out a psychic shock to everyone in the area. It'll attract anyone nearby like a show. That includes the Elite and any other dangerous girls that may be nearby like... The Princess for example.”
You sigh deeply. “So what you're saying is, we need to practice until we're certain, and we wont even know how good our Hysteria effect is till we try because trying marks the start of our revolution.”
Dierdre smiled. “You got it. So, take it slow. We're gonna drill all of this into you guys and I'm gonna master this stuff on my own time, as well. I'll get a rough idea of when we're ready. It also goes without saying, I can't let up on you girls outside or they'll get suspicious.”
“Yeah, that's fine. Thank you for doing this.” You bowed your head respectfully.
“Forget it. I'm doing it for myself so just focus on learning the steps. I'll build a good routine for you all out of what you showed me and you all just gotta follow it.” With that she turned and left. As she stood outside the door she glared inside.
“And that's final! Step up the effort or I'll make sure it cuts into your leisure time, got it!?” She turned haughtily, lifting her chin as she marched off.
“Ah...” You just thought of something.
“What?” Milk inquired.
“I wonder how Sun and Sphinx are doing?”
-
“Please...” Sun whined.
“I can't cum anymore!”
“Oh please...” The Beefolk licked her lips, wetting them in preparation for going back in. She slide one more condom over his throbbing cock. There were already three strapped to each thigh.
“These balls aren't even close to being spent.” She remarked, stroking him to keep him extremely hard. There was a small band tightened around his balls. It was some type of device that was meant to stimulate production. It was also a reminder of what could happen if he ever stopped being able to produce. The men in the Hive were called 'Flowers' for their ability to produce the 'Pollen' that the Beefolk used to make honey. All of the nectar dripping down into the lower hive was semen that had passed the first point of processing. Walking around the tall hexagonal towers of the upper hive were Wilted Flowers. Men who had been completely spent. For those, the bands tightened completely and after that point, all that was left was to become a eunuch. Ironically enough, the Wilted Flowers would also eventually ascend through the process to become Beefolk, and those Bees with an extra 'stinger' were mainly used as maid-servants to the upper class. The Hive was strictly hierarchical with the Queen at the top, followed by the Princess Class, then the Elite class and finally the Warrior and Worker classes.
A Beefolk standing around with a smart, corporate ponytail and a pair of thin-rimmed glasses looked about to mark something down on her clipboard.
“Is Flower-0581 not producing?” She lifted a brow at him and the worker attending him.
“I-I am ma'am, I promise! I was just... Feeling tired and aroused.” Sun blushed deeply. The woman nodded, moving down the line. He was set up on a comfy bed that he had to himself. He was fed exceptionally well and tended towards being pampered, rather than troubled. All he had to do each day was get milked in various ways by the Worker Beefolk. They all seemed to love their job very much. It was maid worse by the man next to him who was having very little trouble at all.
“Ah! Yes! Thank you-” Sphinx whimpered, cumming into the Worker attending him. She giggled, pulling out and lifting his filled condom to tie it off.
“Dragons are so virile!” She complimented.
“You're such a good Flower.” She patted his head affectionately.
Sphinx blushed, getting out between panting. “Thank you, Miss!”
“You're welcome.” She offered in a cheerful, sing-song tone. She squealed giddily, adding.
“My flower is so polite and cute!” They had blindfolded him of course, and he never tried to take it off.
Sun whispered. “Aren't you related to the Emperor, or something? Shouldn't you be throwing your weight around a bit more?”
Sphinx let a little drool escape his lips. “To what end? I can't get better treatment than this!”
“You treating it like an inn? We're prisoners. Also, they have Eve!”
Sphinx retorted calmly. “If you think about it, Eve also has all of the most useful members with her, including herself.” Sun smirked, noticing that Sphinx did not include himself among the 'useful members' category, before realizing that he was also not in that category. He laid back, groaning as the Workers lips wrapped around his cock.

“Are you ready?” Dierdre asked you.
You steadied your breathing. “Yeah.”
It had been a month before she said you were close. Dierdre claimed you all were not exactly 'ready' but that the brainwashing of the Hive would slowly begin to degrade at your minds, anyway after so long and it would potentially cancel out any progress made. So, it was now or never. You all walked out of the neighborhood towards the center of the combs where the most eyes and ears were at. The formations had Dierdre in the Center with you and Milk beside her and Synra and Nina on the outside. You were nervous, because you would not even know if your dance could trigger Hysteria until you tried, and once you tried there was no turning back. It was all or nothing. Drones began to look at you all as you walked, then Workers floated over head to observe you suspiciously. One of the warriors landed in her black tutu.
“Hey! Get back to work! I wont ask you again.” She warned.
Dierdre smirked, looking to you and Synra on her right, then to Milk and Nina on her left. “Ready, girls?” She stared straight ahead in determination and got into the starting position for the routine. You all followed. The Warrior gasped and began flying away as if she were fleeing a bomb. You found it amusing until the dance began and you immediately understood the destructive power of Hysteria within the Hive.
Your heart sang as your body moved with the steps. The moment you all started the music began as if it was filling the entire space itself. It was a K-pop song that had materialized purely to match the moves that you all were performing. Even Dierdre was surprised when you all began to hear meaningful words beginning to be sung in her voice. Like a pro she quickly went along with it and lip-synced perfectly with a bright, endearing smile on her face. You realized that you would have to be ready to lip Sync if your part ever came up, and offered a look of confirmation to the others so that they acknowledged the same duty. Some bridge segments came up where you all needed to lipsync together, but mostly it was all Dierdra.
The Beefolk trying to get away literally fell from the sky into the nectar pool and began treading towards the edge while gasping for air. All the Drones stopped and began jumping and cheering and gathering around like it was a concert. They were screaming for Dierdre, but you could see a few looking at you and at Milk as well as if people were naturally watching and picking their favorites out of the line up in terms of aesthetics. You admired How Dierdre integrated unplanned waves and winks at the audience into the routine unprompted.
“Who's down here showing off their Hysteria!?” A familiar voice boomed. The Princes, shaken but not broken immediately by the performance landed in front of you all with her four Elite surrounding her.
“What is this! Mere Drones DARE to challenge our Species in DANCE?” She scoffed looking to her side to see the Elite getting sucked in. She shoved them and began moving like a ballerina in front of you all. The other Elite snapped out of it with her Hysteria triggering to counteract yours. They all began an in-sync ballet but it only took a few seconds for you to be certain that they were completely out-classed. It began with a missed step. The gentle and light music of the ballet was drowned out in Dierdre's more powerful Hysteria. Slowly the Princess was forced to stop.
“No... Nono...” The Princess fell to her knees and looked up to see Dierdre smiling down at her dominantly. The Beefolk began to drool, her expression shifting to one of admiration. She clasped her hands together in front of her chest and began to get swayed by the emotion and feedback of the crowd. She waved at Dierdre and saw Dierdre wink back. At that point it was over. Their Hysteria had conquered the lower levels.
You all finished the performance. You and Dierdre approached the cowed Princess and her Elite. She looked completely awed.
“Wh-what was that? I- I mean it was amazing.” She blushed, seeming like a starstruck teenager.
“What do we do now?” You asked Dierdre.
“It really depends on what you want to do.” She asked solemnly.
“I think if you wanted to, we could shock and awe rescue your friends and you all could leave this place behind.” It was an attractive offer, but you also remembered the reason you came to begin with. You wanted to contact the Core Beast Union and the Core Beast Union was here. At least in part.
“What's the other option?”
“Heh.” Dierdre nodded towards the Princess and the Elite.
“Build followers. Start a movement.”
“A movement?” It did not sound like she said it in the usual sense. Everything in the Hive was unorthodox, so you guessed correctly.
“In simple terms, a movement is a sea-change within a Hive. We rise up and shift dominance from those in power now, to those who are with us. Gather followers, install our own Princesses, our own Elite. That's how power struggles play out here.”
“If we do that, we'd run into your Sister and Mother...”
“It's what I want. They gave up to become Bees. I wanna show them that the most powerful dance can belong to one of our kind, instead. It is possible.”
“So, even if we leave, you'll stay and try to start the movement yourself?”
“That's right. I'll make it work, so don't worry about me.” She smiled at you, hiding behind it a deep anxiousness and uncertainty.
“What's the end game?”
“End game? We replace the Queen. It's not unheard of. The current Queen was a Warrior. A Queenslayer. That means we can do it, too.”
