It only gets crazier and better 10 fold next season. Excited for you to watch the jjk movie. The movie takes place before the events of season 1 and should be watched before season 2.

THE EPISODE IVE BEEN WAITING FOR

Jonesy

Cant wait for the movie and season 2

Loayza

Next step is the movie Jujutsu Kaisen 0 and then the second season. Maybe you already know that, but just in case haha

Thomas Juino

Next one is the Movie !!!!! JJK0 It takes place just 1 year before season 1 !!!

tarantulala

it is the end of season 1. 25 on CR would be S2E1. There is also a movie that is usually watched in between 2 seasons. So probably you want to do the movie first and then start with ep 25.

MOVIE TIME! ONE OF THE BEST ANIME MOVIES YOULL EVER SEE! By the way the song during the fight It's called" Remember" by Masato He's the lead singer of Cold rain, the Japanese metal band

Mirrorline

Episode 25 is the first episode of season 2. But you have to watch jujutsu kaisen 0 the movie first before watching season 2. If not, you'll miss a lot of context for season 2 because the movie is canon and a prequel to the series. Well technically the first 5 episodes of season 2 are also a prequel to the series and the movie. You do what you want Tony. You can either go straight watch the first 5 episodes of season 2, then jump into the movie and then go back to episode 6 of season 2 because that will be one coherent experience or you can watch the release order which is the movie first and then season 2.

Lijnaito2021 !

So there's two ways you can watch upcoming. You can watch it how we watched it with the movie and then the first five episodes of season 2. Or you can do the first five episodes of season 2 and then the movie either one. They correlate perfectly. So do you want to watch it how it was released or how it is chronologically I guess?

Lijnaito2021 !

Technically, if he watched the hidden inventory arc and then watch the movie, he would still understand everything because hidden inventory takes place before the movie anyway, But I don't recommend it. I think it flows better when you watch the movie and then watch the backstory for that

Mirrorline

Yeah but then it'll be annoying to jump around like that. Watch the first 5 episodes, then jump into the movie and then go back to ep 6 of season 2. Plus the change in animation style will be jarring but I do get what you're saying.

JsnSkg

Lol Gojo really paid Mei Mei to recommend his students. XD

noahh

yeah! season 2 starts at episode 25. its weird but is says S2 Ep25. but before watching season 2 i would watch the movie! thats how they released the series!!

Marcus

pretty sure he paid her to investigate into the traitor(s), not to recommend anyone, that would have been fruitless imo. Would have been funny if that was true though lol.

Marcus

Glad you liked this season, can’t wait for you to watch season 2, but you should definitely watch the movie first!

Krom Bear

You need to watch the movie before season 2!

Marcus

I think how it was released is better becuase that’s the order the author intended the story to be consumed in.

Krom Bear

Also, the song is called REMEMBER from the JJK OST https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OAEZIuRSQ_M

Trowa

Yeah that was the end of season one! Hidden Inventory/Ep 25 is season 2. Next step, I would recommend the movie! S2 Hidden Inventory Arc is technically before the movie but that's only the first five episodes. After that Ep6 of S2 jumps back to current times where the movie is now important. So you can go Movie + S2 or S2 Ep 1 - 5 and then JJK0 movie then rest of S2.

Marcus

So here’s the song you were asking for, ‘Remember’ by Coldrain https://youtu.be/FtRp6svwSY4?si=cUwjOF2SKwI9mmLv . And this song https://youtu.be/pV2JnZjfNjk?si=Vn_M3JTTm35kBwS2 is an instrumental version of it but is also a little bit different(I think it was also in this episode). Imo it’s worth checking out too, these are great music!

Marcus

Also just something to remember for reference for when you get into stuff that will go back in time, the events of season 1, in the anime, took place in the year 2018. Pretty sure they’ve said it in early episodes but it’s easy to forget/miss for sure.

Movie time!!!! The movie is insane

Veronica

This was such an enjoyable rewatch. I highly recommend watching the movie and then moving on to S2. Also, the song playing during Nobara and Itadori’s scene is Remember by Masato from Coldrain. You actually reacted to one of their songs on your YouTube channel for anime openings. The song was We Are Not Alone from the anime Rainbow. You did praise his vocals which is why I was excited to see your reaction for this song. They’re such a great band! I hope you react to the full song.

Mariana Roca

It's just so annoying that Crunchyroll lazely tags the movie as "Season 44" instead, idk, Season 1.5". Not only you almost accidentally saw stuff from Season 2 before the movie, but it also makes it harder to know if a new episode has been released, because the "latest episode" will always be the movie.

Lijnaito2021 !

I'm so happy you enjoyed season 1 it's been a fun ride with you Tony 🎉

Displeasure

Can't wait for the movie reaction!

Eli L.

Great to see season 1 complete! That action sequence with our heroes against the brothers with Remember playing in the background was definitely a highlight of the season. The way the fluid animation synced with the music was very well done. Looking forward to the next!

skrrt

I enjoyed 5 eps of S2 before the movie more to avoid the spoilers about Geto

Can't wait to rewatch the movie and have you along for the ride. It really just does not let up from here.

It took a whole season, but this episode is what made me finally love Nobara's character! She was such a badass in the fight, and then vibes with Itadori when he's feeling a bit vulnerable. The contrast between those moments really just showed her depth.

Kira

At 10:06, when that back and forth started happening, panning from yuji to nobara being cool, that solidified for me being the best episode in that season. It was soooo good. Plus nobara is my favorite character in jjk, and she was cool here🥹
