(Dragonflight) Quest Item That Kills Elite Mobs FAST For Full Experience (Patreon)

It seems that every expansion Blizzard has a quest with an associated item which greatly reduces the power of elite mobs allowing players to grind mobs for efficient experience, and Dragonflight is not an exception.

The following quest gives you access to an item which allows you to do 300% extra damage to elite npc's in the relevant area and reduces their damage by 40%. With rested xp, I was able to go from 63-64 in just over 25 minutes, so this is a viable option for grinding alts. 

The relevant quest is "proto fight" in the Waking Shores.

 This quest is right at the end of the storyline "Defense Of Life" beginning with "For The Benefit Of The Queen". https://www.wowhead.com/quest=66114/for-the-benefit-of-the-queen. 

The quest item is the "ruby spear", effectively a harpoon. The mobs are "Galestrike Proto Dragons".

EDIT: To clarify the ruby spear disappears from your list of quests on the right-hand side of the screen after 3 kills. However the spear is STILL in your inventory and can still be used. You can click on the spear in your inventory (not recommended as that is a bit clunky) or add it to your actions bars/keybinds while you are using this exploit. Thanks Jared for alerting me to this issue.

Also tested this at 62 and it is much faster. The lower the level you can do this at the better.
