Flying In Wintergrasp (Patreon)

It is possible to fly temporarily in the Wintergrasp battleground.

Go to the outer edges of the battleground (in any direction). When you leave the "combat zone" you will get a warning message and around 6-8 seconds in total to return to the battleground. During this period you can fly as you can in normal world zones. 

You must fly back into the combat zone to avoid being teleported away. You will then be dismounted. You will need a disposable goblin glider to take advantage of the situation. 

The main use of this trick is to fly over walls and into, or on top of the fortress. The walls of the fortress offer excellent opportunities for players to attack from range whilst being able to get out of line of sight very easily if fire is returned.

Additionally: if you somehow manage to fall through the world you will be teleported in front of the final gate in the fortress. This is true even if you are attacking. 

A small organized team could use either method and Wrath-era explosives (eg Saronite bombs, which do siege damage) to guarantee a win in record time.
