WoW Retail-Use Unattainable Legendary Weapons! (Short Duration) (Patreon)

The great TRG_Semi, one of the best exploiters in wow, sent me the following method:

 So I found out recently that you can delete the weapons you get from Tempest Keep and Item Restore it to keep them on the outside for the duration they last. They'll only work in the zone you take them out of the mailbox in. 

The weapons you get during the Kael'Thas fight have some very overpowered effects. e.g  https://www.wowhead.com/item=30313/staff-of-disintegration . In theory these could trivialize some of the toughest mythic raid fights.

To be clear the weapons only exist for 15 minutes. I found that you seemed to have to destroy the weapons during the actual fight for this to work. 

There appear to be no zone restrictions, but you need access to a mail box (which can include portable mailboxes like Moll-E). 

When I joined a group after trying this equipped weapons vanished. They did not vanish when I was already in a group and took them out of my mailbox.

At least some of the effects do appear to work in-world or in instances and sometimes show up as buffs.

Normally I would research a play like this until I was completely sure what its potential was: in this case that proved impossible since item restoration can only be practiced every 15 days per account, the weapons only last 15 minutes, and only one character can use it at a time. For this reason I thought it better to share it with patreons to see how much can be done with it.

A warning: expect some frustration-these weapons were never meant to be used outside the intended instance and glitch out very easily.
