Farming The 65,000 Gold Pet Super-Fast (Patreon)

The battle pet "Jadefire spirit" drops from the mob "Spirit Of Jadefire" and has an average value of 65000 gold across all realms-though I've seen it sell for as much 150,000. The drop chance is 1.57%. 

Spirit Of Jadefire is a rare spawn and materializes in a random location in the "Cavern Of Lost Spirits" in the north of the Timeless Isle. 

The traditional method for farming the spirit is to run through the cavern, I did not find this terribly time-efficient as you can't use a mount and the cavern is a fair size *

It is surprisingly easy to check the cavern for the spirit. Simply go into the mouth of the cavern and use the macro /tar sp , if the mob is up it will appear. 

To get to the Timless Isle quick I would advise acquiring the "Time-Lost Artifact", this is available for 7500 timeless coins from Mistweave Ku (42.8, 54.8). This has an on-use ability which teleports you to the island.

 Timeless coins can be acquired by killing mobs in the island, it should take 10-20 minutes at max level to farm that many. 

From then on you can check the cavern for the spirit in under a minute at any time.

I would also recommend completing the fight with the Celestial/s in the main courtyard for the celestial cache, while you are there, which can contain up to 19 motes of harmony worth around 500 gold. Together these things are very effective use of a few minutes.

* The foreboding flames in cave sometimes drop a "Ominous Flame" pet, which a is much less valuable battle pet than the Jadefire spirit at around 10K gold, however some farm this item if there is no flame available on their AH. If you wish to do this I'd recommend using a class trial (or main if you have one) warlock or monk and placing your demonic circle or spirit outside the cave to avoid having to run back.
