When class trials were introduced a few years ago they created a very significant amount of gold-making exploits many of which I published. The only real restriction Blizzard had to limit this activity was a throttling of the maximum number of class trials that could be created in any short period.

In my recent video on grinding rep on Argus, which recommended a class trial account exploit several respondents observed that they seemed to be able to create limitless number of class trials in stark contrast to the severe previous restrictions.

I tested this: there is still an hourly limit of 4. This is not a real problem since most activities which generate decent gold take at least 15 minutes or close to it anyway. The main change however is that there does not appear to be a weekly limit any more.

Why is this so important?

The key to why class trials are so important is that any profitable activity a 110 player in wow can engage in that is one-off or time-limited can be bypassed by the class trial system. Any quest, profession-gated cooldown or other non-instantly repeatable action can be exploited.
