The following exploit took me a *considerable amount of time and effort to figure out, hope you guys like it. It is useful mainly for pet-using classes and healers. A small team using this exploit may well be able to kill even mythic raid bosses.

This is probably the most gamebreaking exploit I have posted here so far, though it requires some effort to use. This is mainly because it requires exalted with the netherwing drake faction based in Outland, Shadowmoon Valley.

The point of this reputation grind is to affiliate yourself with the netherwing drakes of Shadowmoon Valley and infiltrate their aggressors, the Dragonmaw Orcs using an orc disguise. You perform duties for the Dragonmaw while simultaneouly sabotaging them and ultimately rising through their hierarchy.

How the exploit works and what it does: when you reach exalted with this faction a quest opens up entitled "Lord Illidan Stormrage", the ultimate master of the Dragonmaw, where upon Stormrage sees through your disguise and imprisons you in a magical field. Technically, this is a buff called "Mark Of Stormrage".

If you enter a port (say lfd, lfr or a battleground) while imprisoned, you will be stunned for the duration of the debuff (1 minute). When it expires, you will no longer be able to target any mob, and mobs will not aggro you. They act as if you are not there even if you walk straight through them.

You can target friendly players when in this special state and can heal them. Healers will not take damage and can stay rooted to the spot ignoring game mechanics. Moreover, my experimentation with a low-level guardian pet trinket (I was using a priest) showed that pets under your control can still aggro and attack bosses (that was one pissed-off raid group:)), meaning that warlocks and hunters should be able to continuously summon pets while invincible.

In theory, a small team of pet-using classes should be able to kill virtually anything. You can't do it solo because if a pet gets one-shot the fight resets, but with multiple players continuously summoning you only have avoid all of the pets being killed in the same moment.

There are many other possible uses. You can cancel the buff simply by re-logging allowing the player to skip to the end of instances quickly.

The buff persists through death. It works in-world and in pve instances: it seems to do nothing in pvp other than stop you rezzing at the gy.

What is most striking about this buff: it has been in the game for an unbelievable ten years. During all that time it has never been fixed.

I will be publishing more on this shortly: I'm still a long way off exploring the full potential, as I promise when I advertise this Patreon service you get everything as soon as I actually discover it.

Additionally attaining exalted with netherwing is quite a task in itself. Burning Crusade rep grinds were tough. I'll be publishing some tricks on how to shorten the grind very soon also.

*This is English understatement. It means I went slightly mad doing this.

Shadowlands Update: Works everywhere in the new zones apart from the Maw. Interestingly this seems to be because a very similar buff is triggered when you enter the Maw.
