This is an extremely powerful technique I use a lot in pvp. It works especially well for blood due to the low death grip cooldown though is a game-breaker for all specializations.

There is a common misconception that death knights cannot use death grip to pull people over the edge of sheer drops such as the flag area in Eye Of The Storm or the Lumber Mill in Arathi Basin.

This is due to the fact that you cannot death grip other players into mid-air-the edge of a cliff is as close as you get. Some players try to use the enemy player's momentum to their advantage-however this is quite difficult to pull off and requires the enemy player to have slow reaction time.

I developed a technique to get round this: it works on the principle that some areas on the edge of sheer drops can be stood on, they do not count as "air" for death grip purposes, but the player will almost immediately fall down if they stop onto that exact point.

To find these "fall points" requires a little practice. Even if I could actually show you some of the fall points, which I cannot because of copyright, it would not help that much because it takes more than visual identification requiring some practice with muscle memory.

Eessentially what you do is this: find a sheer area and test by simply walking over the edge to see if you can find a fall point (naturally you'll want to use some form of slowfall). You'll want to put your character in walk mode while testing the spot and inch forward with individual key-presses. If you hang in a particular spot for half a second-that's a fall point.

When you stand immediately in front of the fall point and death grip if it has worked the other player should be drawn to the location and immediately fall down. In many locations such as the Arathi Lumber Mill this will actually outright kill them-though there are even more locations where you get subtler but more effective results, doing significant fall damage and removing them from the battle area for a significant period of time.

Be aware this technique is somewhat frustrating to learn, but the payoff is definitely worth it as you can in many cases literally one-shot players every time you can use death grip.
