You didn’t think Jezebel was the only Underburbs namesake, did you? The forces of Hell weren’t happy with Jezebel escaping. Salomé was ordered to bring her back by any means necessary. Why would she do this? Does she have a personal vendetta against Jezebel? Or was it that her job in Hell sucked? (She was constantly dancing to taunt the horniest of the damned. After a while, doling out eternal torment can become torment in itself.)

Of course I had the reuse the inverted pentagram hair when designing Salomé Brimston for The Underburbs. I dropped the black halo, though. I’m not sure exactly what the original Salomé design looked like, but this is pretty close. Anyone who’s read The Underburbs might remember the brief flashback to Firan and Salomé’s first murder party. Young Sal Brimston looked a lot more like this old design before she had children.
