What an inventive, hilarious, and at times thoughtful film. I definitely was left with some interesting thoughts with the way they chose to end it. Still, what I liked the most was the music.

This is one of the few films that Allen was totally satisfied with. Unfortunately, it's now also a lot harder to appreciate due to how much Cecilia's story mirrors how Mia Farrow herself was treated by Allen. Much like Roman Polanski, I find I'm able to detach enough from the knowledge of his actions when watching his work from before it happened, but in this case the story itself makes it so impossible to ignore that I just can never see it again.

Toss in how Frank Sinatra treated Mia Farrow before and then Roman Polanski made her a star...and jimminy. No wonder Ronan Farrow is her son.
