What an inventive, hilarious, and at times thoughtful film. I definitely was left with some interesting thoughts with the way they chose to end it. Still, what I liked the most was the music.

Wow, I had no idea you posted this! What a beautiful reaction! Oh my gosh, I'm so happy you ended up doing this one! It really is a bittersweet comedy! But then again, so is most of his best work (though his early pre-Annie Hall work is just straight comedy, ten thousand jokes a minute, a laugh at any cost). And the music! Love that you loved the music! He almost always has old timey jazz as his soundtrack, no matter when the movie takes place, lol. Love everything you said about how we use movies as escapism from our troubles. Love that you quoted "All About Eve"! And I totally agree: the cast stranded in the film is my favorite part as well! i thought maybe you would get irritated with the main character! "Of course she should get fired.......she's doing a lousy job! She's got to keep this movie thing in perspective!" And I thought the husband would give you Godfather flashbacks! lol. (He actually appears in the Godfather Part 2, ironically enough!). Anyways, THANK YOU!!!! Really, really enjoyed this! !)
