I loved willows transition to the magic shop it was Magnificent

Awww, I teared up at Giles' entrance too even though I've seen it a gazillion times before, just because your excitement was infectious!

Mary Kate

Oh one thing that does bother me a bit: couldn’t Anya have hidden better? 😂 Just like, under a table or something?

StackzDaCrook

Okay, so I don't believe this is a spoiler anymore but this season is my favorite season because Willow is the big bad in it, I think it's pretty awesome. I was so hyped when I first seen Dark Willow too and I'm glad you've finally reached this point in the season.

SpikesEcho

This is definitely a very good episode, but I'm not a big fan of the end of this season personally (like, these last few episodes). Dark Willow just doesn't do it for me.....which is weird, cause I relate to her and everything she feels and says, so hard. I don't know, this whole arc, and Willow as the big bad - it just somehow doesn't interest me. I don't think I buy into Dark Willow the way they want me to.

Ron Fehr

I personally look at this season as not really having a big bad, although the three bozos kind of thought they were early on in the season.

TaraFromTerra

So glad you're a Giles stan too <3

Richard Lucas

It’s very clear who the big bad of the season was, and that’s Warren, but I can’t go into more details unless you want to text me at 410-603-9954. Rich

SpikesEcho

Everyone knows by this point that "life" is the big bad of season 6, but Dark Willow is the big power that needs to be stopped at the end.

Ron Fehr

I agree that "life" is the big bad. Had Warren survived, I think he would have in the running (he wouldn't have won though).

Richard Lucas

I love Dark Willow too, but Warren is unequivocally the big bad. Text me if you want to know my reasoning 410-603-9954 Rich

I think the Dark Willow storyline was built so well for like... 3 seasons. Slowly ramping to this point, and I do think it has earned its payoff. But imo, the episodes in the middle of the season where they treat it full on like a drug addiction hurts it a bit... and while I think DW is cool, she's also kinda cheesy, like comic book from the 60s cheesy, so I can see why others aren't super invested. I'll say this for its credit though... I made a friends watch the series with me. They never got fully invested in the characters, even said "The Body" was boring. But this arc was the first time they wanted to keep watching. Did the last 4 eps in one sitting... so idk what that means, but it feels like it means something. lol

Ron Fehr

Sir Deb My guess is that the middle of the season was just to show how Willow could get without Tara to rein her in.

Dusty

I just wonder about the timeline. Warren shoots the gun during the daytime and dies at night, and this is all presumably the same night... how did Giles get back so fast? Edit: maybe magic lol

RubyDian

I've always thought that the first half of the episode had some oddly lackluster acting for how serious the situation is (did anyone else feel this way?) like almost a little too casual, but the ending half ramped things up. Always great to see the return of Giles

cosmotron

My biggest issue with her is the very weird lines, like the “bitch” one this episode. It’s not like villains with campy lines are new for the show. But for something that’s supposed to be very serious so many of Dark Willow’s lines make me roll my eyes, or laugh when I’m not supposed to lol.

Jamie Morgan

I mean, planes from London to California are less than a day long lol.

When I watched this one for the first time, I was so hyped because I thought Spike's quest was setting up season 7's Big Bad: William the Bloody.

Erica Schaefer

Anya says "Thanks a lot for coming. It was good of you to teleport all this way." Giles definitely used magic to get back to Sunnydale quickly.

Dusty

tell me more lines from future episodes please.

Hef

Hi Erica, you posted this under the wrong video, thort you'd want to know. :)

Giles in beginning of season: I've got a theory! Giles at the end: I'd like to test that theory!
