NEW PERK: Player Cards 3.0 (Patreon)

The time has finally come: 2021 Player Cards are now live!

These are structurally the same as the 2018-2020 Player Cards that were previously available, the one difference being that penalty impact has replaced high-danger passing for the time being as Corey's microstat sample for the season is not large enough yet.

Here is the explainer of how to interpret the data on these cards. All of the stats presented on them are expressed in percentile form (how a player ranks compared to the rest of the forwards/defencemen in the NHL) based on a weighted average of their stats in each category over the past three seasons. 

One thing to note: goalie cards are for the time being not included. The range of stats I need to gather to make them work is not available to me yet and I will hopefully add them before the trade deadline. If you do want a sense of how good a goalie is in the meantime, flipping a coin would be a good alternative.

Enjoy, and please let me know if you notice any issues. Portraits not showing up/being grey might happen, I'm basically reliant on the image source to be a buddy and it has not fully rewarded my loyalty.
