Apologies for a brief period of silence! During the past month we were working on a little game pitch just before fully switching back to Tough Bippy. Unfortunately we couldn't speak too heavily about it (and still can't say too much) but we are at least allowed to give just a look at and older build just displaying the raw hitboxes and gameplay. As much as we'd like to show the finished animations and art we had - that will sadly need to left up to the imagination for now!

The concept was a 4 player fighting game environment focused primarily around 2 v 2. Familiar fighting game concepts such as jump cancelling were in here, as well as various movement options to allow for high speed and some flexibility within combo structures by using momentum.

This one is still sort of up in the air in terms of its status but we at least wanted to show you guys what we were working on for the brief period before transitioning towards Tough Bippy.

In August we will be planning to do frequent development streams showcasing our work on Tough Bippy, both the programming end as well as the art and animation. We figured now that time has opened up for us we may as well share share share as much as we can while working! We're still figuring out an exact schedule (stay tuned for that) but we're looking forward to showcasing our work!

Will the programming streams actually show the code? As a programmer I would love to see DD's coding process but I can understand not wanting to stream your game's internals on the internet.

Cool to hear you guys are going to start streaming the making of the game I might not be able to catch many of them though due to timezones, either way I'm excited to see what you'll put out.
