Well you called the ending pretty well 😂 I think I've heard Germany and a lot of Europe is way more liberal with nudity so probably a lot of places like that bath house I would imagine.

I love Lito, and he was totally connected with Sun this time, even feeling her time of the month. That is why he was so emotional the entire time. I knew I had seen Wolfgang before too, and that is from the movie Free Fall. Amazing movie!

okie dokie! I feel like I have to clear a couple of things up for you Seb: 1. Sun was on her period in the beginning and Lito was feeling her period symptoms (cramps, bloating, mood swings, etc... which is why he was acting so strangely with the crying and the screaming lol) 2. I think the reason for showing Wolfgang's penis in that way was because were looking through Kala's gaze and we know that since Kala has been brought up in a very modest and chaste household, she has probably never seen a man naked before. seeing Wolfgang's penis would have been shocking for her and would also be part of what made her faint. anyway, I hope that clears some stuff up for you. I love this episode because we really start to see some different visiting pairs, including two of my faves: Sun and Capheus and Lito and Sun. on to the next one hehehe ;)

It amazes me how emotionally you get caught up with each of their stories and what they are going through. Its soooo well filmed.

Remember most weddings in India are arranged marriages by the parents and not because of love.

I feel like these first 5-6 episodes were more about establishing the characters and their relationships (since there are a lot of them after all). I think we will get an idea of the overall plot once that has been done.

did you feel like the plot ramped up in the next episodes?

😂 I memory dump stuff so hard after watching things so I forget what comes up where on rewatches. Great for rewatching with Seb, less so for recommending things well or teasing things. When rewatching the Witcher, my god I had forgotten most of it. I forgot Yennefer even existed and I really liked her character 😂

Alex

The dick was very necessary lololo

Alex

hopefully he will react to that one some day

dude, when you brought up Spider-Man NWH 💀 I had just gotten home from watching it and just sat down to watch this episode with you 😂😂 it was amazing and everything I’d been waiting for 🙌🏼 everything was so hype and the whole crowd kept cheering for a lot of amazing (haha) moments… it honestly felt like when I watched Endgame with the theater crowd for the first time 😭 I am so GLAD that you have gotten to watch the other Spider-Man movies because I know you’ll appreciate this one even more than if you hadn’t 💞

the women who met up with Nomi in the park were there to give her the key to get in through the back of the building 😂

I swam naked once in DC, I was very drunk and I was about to get my LSAT scores, so I took off all my clothes and I swam in the reflecting pool in front of the Lincoln Memorial. I got a 174.

To respond to a sort of question you asked here... yes, London is very special to some of us. As an American whose first childhood memories are of living as an ex-pat in London, I have spent the whole rest of my life wishing we had never moved away from that city. Something, for me, about London feels like home in a way that no other city I have ever traveled to, visited, or lived in feels like. And, on the one hand, that's totally an individual experience and perspective of my own. But, I would say, having been to a great many and lived in or near a few major metropolises... London is fully unique in many ways. In a manner not dissimilar to how NYC and Paris and Tokyo and Los Angeles and Hong Kong feel like entirely distinct places in spite of all being megalopolises. Now, that doesn't mean that London should be or is special to everyone who lives there or relatively near to it. That's not how specialness gets experienced usually, I realize. You sort of have to vibe with a place to really get the distinctive feel of any location. Just because someone grows up in or near some place that is a unique and desirable destination for others doesn't mean it feels like that for everyone. So, it definitely doesn't have to feel or seem remarkable to you or anyone else from the UK. But I would say that, yes, for some of us in the world... London is special. Somewhere we miss and wish our lives had kept us closer to. No doubt there are folks who feel like this about Los Angeles, a place I lived near and around for 26 years and could not wait to get out of and away from. So... I guess what I mean to be saying is that the specialness of a place is unique to all of our own personal sensibilities. Which is maybe also part of this show's vibe too. All of the locations around the globe and the people in it are far flung but become special to one another and to the audience as we find ourselves falling in love, so to speak, with their stories, their lives, and the terrain they all cross to become a closer and closer part of one another's existences within Sense8. The world is both massive and tiny and we find ourselves and our places in it in a very different ways, but we recognize right away when we click with someone or somewhere. If that makes any sense. Sorry this was a bit of a ramble, but when you questioned how London registered for folks not nearby it, it sparked these thoughts. Thank you, as always, for your channel and your continued output and ESPECIALLY for watching this very unique show.

Do home pools count? Coming of Age and living the first several chapters of my adulthood in the greater Los Angeles area, pools at people's houses weren't unusual and the opportunity to swim in them - in whichever state of dress or undress - inevitably occurred on a recurring basis. But I also realize not everywhere in the world is a littered with pools as So Cal is.

Knights Who Say Sledge

Yeah, Lito is definitely caught up in the physical and emotional experience Sun is having in this episode due to her period and the intense situation she finds herself in.

Knights Who Say Sledge

Side note... I have always read the camera clocking Wolfgang's junk as being needed because Kala is clocking his junk. It didn't seem like a gratuitous shot to my mindset in part because Kala is going to pass out due to the impact of not just what is going on but also of seeing Wolfgang fully - not just his junk or even in particular his junk - but all of him, including his junk. If that makes sense. The presence of his junk is an unavoidable intimacy that sort of sends a jolt thru her. Not the least because the show makes it pretty clear she hasn't ever been with a man in any kind of intimate way and BOOM the emotional intimacy she has felt from the start with Wolfgang is now undeniably present in the form of his total nakedness. I think we're meant to go "woah, okay, that just happened for real and was unexpected" in a similar way to how Kala can no longer sidestep what she's been experiencing in her previous Wolfgang intersections... woah... this is all actually happening.

2022-01-10 12:52:04 I'm late but I came here to explain just what Knights Who Say Sledge mentioned above about the camera shot of Wolfgang's "member". I also wanted to point out that the quick scene changes are not random; if they quickly cut between different character's experiences, it's usually because those characters are visiting each other without realizing it. Like with Lito being so emotional earlier, that was because he was feeling all of Sun's menstrual cramps, bloating, and emotions. When you think not much happened in an episode, it's because you missed a lot of those small details.
