In case you’re curious how long this size of CD lasted in Japan, I have a number of Pokémon ones in my collection, and the latest one appears to be from 2000.

Thanks! Not gonna lie, I've put off making this video for a few years just to "distance" it from his episode on the D-88. I'm doing the same for an upcoming MiniDisc retrospective, he and I actually wrote our scripts around the same time several years ago, but he managed to get his episode out first. I don't really believe in "competition" on YouTube but when multiple channels release similar videos around the same time, the smaller ones get fewer views than they otherwise should.
