Snapshot Sunday - March 24 (Patreon)

Hey there Patrons!

Hope you're having a great day! I'm gonna be quick with this one because I've still got a lot to do and I'm kinda stressed.

This week had a good amount of progress done on art, three completed pieces, which is great! Two more of the fanart girls were finished, and I had a ton of fun doing Zeezi in particular. She's got such a great character design! And for Kazooie, I knew when I sketched her that I wanted her to have a build similar to the Ritos from Breath of the Wild, it just lends itself so well to a huge muscular bird character.

The rest of the work this week was on commissions! I was able to finish the commission for Beef Supreme, which is also a fitting piece for Macro March! And it was fun getting to do all the additional flourishes for it. For CuriousGarchomp's piece, I eventually decided to redraw the piece entirely, because I wasn't happy with the previous sketch; it didn't have great perspective and there wasn't that "looming aura" feel that I had initially tried to capture. I'm much happier with the current sketch, though for the sake of brevity with this post, there was a lot of additional sketch work trying to fix the original that isn't shown. And lastly, we've got some initial sketch work done for another commission for Aatarashi! More macro stuff on the horizon with this one, and I'll be making the main character even beefier after some feedback, so look forward to that!

To quickly wrap up, I'm a little annoyed that I didn't get more done, specifically I didn't spend as much time drawing on Saturday as I would have liked, as I was originally planning to get more commission sketches done. That'll be today though. No rest for the weary!

Lastly, I'll be out of town this weekend for Easter, I'm going to visit my family, so there won't be any snapshot update next week. I'm hoping I'll be able to get enough done before then but I might have to push back a few things. We'll see.
