Snapshot Sunday - March 17 (Patreon)

Happy Saint Patrick's Day patrons!

A bit of a late post this week, so I apologize for that if you're usually looking forward to these at a more reasonable hour. Let's not waste any time getting into it!

So with it being Saint Patrick's Day, I had to continue the tradition of drawing my big green gal Cali for the holiday, and I only came to the realization that Saint Patrick's day is always in March, so it made sense to do a Macro March tie in as well! (For some reason I thought it was a fluctuating holiday like Easter, but I digress). So, needing a reason for Cali to be much bigger, I eventually had the idea that she'd be doing something in the Chicago river, since it's dyed green for Saint Patrick's each year! I'll probably do another one of these next year with Cali at an even bigger size, and I might keep that theme running for a few years, haha.

That's not the only Macro themed pic this week though! I also finished the commission for VioletNeon, who's mega sized cyborg shark Salem is a perfect fit for the month! This pic actually has a few alts, though they're minor as far as differences go. Namely, alternate humorous dialogue options! But for the sake of keeping things short and consumable this post, I've only posted the one here in the Snapshot post. 

But there's still more macro stuff, as I completed another pass on BeefSupreme's commission, *really* cranking up the muscle size from the last pass. That pic will be completed for the next snapshot, though the original goal was for it to be completed tonight but I got sidetracked with other things today, like house chores!

And from there we have a handful of warmup sketches. I decided to break from the "less warmups" for this week because I was in a very strong mood to practice some exceptionally curvy body types based off of some art I had seen from another artist on Twitter, notably @Vetarix (If you like big curvy ladies, definitely give them a look!). Though I was quickly back to my beefy lady ways, and folks who follow my Twitter will probably know that I was running a number of polls on more big (and probably macro) beefy lady characters to make, and so I was in that headspace when sketching out different types of beefy bodies. I'm really happy with that shark, and I'm probably going to make her a proper character, haha.

The only other thing that happened this week that isn't pictured is I was working on more alternate versions of the Toriel pic showcased last week. I might post them in next week's snapshot, but most of the work was really sketchy, and it was already getting pretty late by the time I had everything prepped for posting. I still need to go back and finish up the rest of those characters too. Hmm, got my work cut out for me this week, haha!
