Snapshot Sunday - April 7 (Patreon)

Hello Patrons!

A bit late in the day, but given that I was busy all day, and the amount of drawings I had to round up from the last two weeks, it's to be expected! That said, I am exhausted, so despite the massive number of sketches, I'm going to try and keep this short. Let's get into it!

Commissions commissions commissions! A lot of sketches for new and outstanding commissions over the last two weeks, ranging from cleanup to existing work to brand new sketches for new clients. Unsurprisingly there are a lot of big and beefy ladies being drawn! I'm hoping I can keep up the rate of work through the rest of the backlog, which I think I should be able to so long as I remember to take breaks every now and then for personal work, which is necessary to prevent burnout.

Which is a good segue into the small handful of personal pieces I did over the last two weeks. Nothing too terribly noteworthy though; practicing different species again, doodling kobolds for fun, and keeping my inking sharp by finishing a piece I sketched out in... I think September of last year. I want to use that piece for promotional images in the future, so I'll probably give it a simple lighting pass and maybe make a SFW version of it as well.

To quickly wrap up, despite all the work that I did get done, the latter half of this week I wasn't as productive as I would have liked to be. Between a couple crappy night's sleep and feeling like garbage, mixed with some depression spikes (not any serious or long-lasting ones thankfully), I just didn't have it in me to work on art stuff. I think honestly it was end-of-vacation depression, and just not getting to see the family anymore, which doesn't make it suck any less, but if I have to have any depression, I'd rather it be short-term stuff like that instead of the long term stuff like I was struggling with last year, haha.
