I was having some serious issues with looping scenes earlier that took me a few hours to fix, but I believe they're all sorted. Basically, Kenzie kept taking the Pollard Test multiple times. Maybe they enjoyed AL's tender administrations?

Missing stuff: Nover!Buttons are still missing half the scene in Chapter 13 due to a separate looping issue that I'm currently working on solving. For Chapter 14, the scene only plays under certain circumstances (I've yet to finish the version that happens if you stay at Nick's house).

Even with the missing material, the wordcount is now 402k words 🥳🥳🥳 (Chapter 13 will be over 50,000 words once the Nover version gets added).

Without further ado, here's the new link: https://dashingdon.com/play/wildelight/project-ivanhoe/mygame/

(Please let me know if it loops for people when you try to take the test! I've renamed most scenes as a precautionary measure, but this chapter has a megaton of variation to handle.)

(Code diving is still ok to do without huge spoilers . . . but some scenes will probably be more satisfying if you happen upon them au natural.)

(If you don't get a scene in Chapter 14, try going back and choosing violence to see what's currently available.)

(Also, the EMP device isn't tracking right. Please pretend not to notice that you can take it from your pocket multiple times.)

(I think that's all. Fingers crossed that I've eradicated the loops!)

Just wanted to report that I do get a loop during the test scene. If you need a breakdown of choices selected, I can certainly provide.

Sure thing! I only realized after I commented that this is probably what you meant by the EMP not tracking right! Sorry if this was redundant info for you. 😅 But, just in case: Cue to Kent to go first > Try to get ahold of Nick > Feel paralyzed > Provoke Reese to stall > "Where are you keeping Justice?" > Agree to test and covertly reach for EMP At this point, it loops back to Kent stepping forward to go first and repeats the choices starting with "Try to make contact with Nick." If I then select the same choices from there, I am eventually forced to choose between violence or taking the test and then everything works as it should.

Skippy Hugo

Should be a flirty option to get Reese to do the test with Button. Not that they would agree 😉 Plus, as much as I'd love to throw a punch, doing the test seems to me as the best option and letting the chips fall where they lie.

I feel like a detective because for the first time, I think I have a decent guess on who Noh might be 🤔 can’t wait to see if I’m right or horribly, horribly wrong!

I’m starting to get this feeling that despite their methods… Noh might actually be on the side of Ments. Which would make sense given their own powers but man I had expected they would be anti-Ment like the other villains but now I’m wondering if that “sabotage from within” line I threw at Reese is closer to the truth for Noh then I realized.

Hey ya, I also got the loop while I was asking Reese if she was single. K went back to do the test again. Just wanted to let you know.
