Tia of the Rangers of Lioncourt (Patreon)

A short, pretty, and dutiful young archer from the Ilbrasa islands, south of Nemea. Tia’s skill and ambition brought her all the way to the mainlands, up through Nemea and Enndi, to the crownlands of Maahes where she participated in the Kingdoms greatest archer competition; The Gold Arrow. Against three-hundred of the finest amateur archers, the young Tia placed in the top ten, earning her the attention of the Maahesian peerage.

As a result of her high finish, though she did not win a prize, Tia was sponsored for the Knights Academy as an Archer by Lord Baelen Theis. The young lord wished to groom the young woman to be a member of his ‘Song Birds’ , his harem of deadly female warriors. It would have been quite a step up in the world, but Tia had other ambitions.

As a squire at Leonhardt Academy, Tia excelled, earning high marks for her archer, but also her scouting and survival skills. She was an excellent candidate for the Rangers of Lioncourt. Despite Lord Baelen’s protest that he had a claim to the girl, her abilities had caught the eye of a more powerful noble, Queen Azalyn de Lioncourt.

The meeting was a chance encounter, as the Queen had been in disguise, practicing her own martial talents. Upon hearing of Tia’s dreams of becoming a ranger, seeing her abilities, and learning of her fears and reluctance to become a member of Baelen’s Harem, Queen Azalyn took special interest in Tia.

Upon graduation, Tia was recruited to train under Courtian Rangers until it was deemed that she had the ability to take the ‘Green Cloak’ true. In that she was sent, with the Queen Lesser’s blessing to Leveria, to train under the only warriors who could train true rangers, the Striders of Harima
