The Rangers of Lioncourt are like few groups in all of Theria, for they are hardly seen within the borders of the kingdom. Those within the Empire of Sauria, The Dominion of Argoria, The Free Timberlands, and even the realm of Leveria are all more commonly acquainted with Lioncourt's Rangers than the citizens they protect. For the core of a ranger is to range beyond the safety of the Kingdom, and thus that is what they do.

Because of this Rangers are often on assignment for months at a time, in the thick of Timberlands, the wilds of Wildering, and many times beyond the Amaranth mountains toward the Naedlynn Plains. It is their sworn duty to identify and answer threats to the Kingdom of Lioncourt long before they rich her borders.

But the life of a Ranger can be lonely. Few can handle the isolation. There are few creature comforts and the company of your fellows is all that can keep you warm at night. Thus, rangers tend to be very close to one another, extremely close. They say no sane kin should attach themselves to a ranger and expect fidelity, it is just not viable unless both have 'taken the green'.

Rangers are known for being incredibly close with their units, often marrying within, or forming close bonds that last lifetimes. Young Camden is such a ranger. Though of high noble birth, the Eridani lioness is both an eager and exemplary range; but despite her rumored engagement to Lord Cassius Assyrius, Camden is reputed to be aggressively promiscuous with the women within her circle. A fact that Tia found out when welcomed into her group. The two would become fast friends and easy lovers. Certainly,  none would believe another could steal the young ranger's heart quite like her Lord, but many are sure to try.
