General Update - 19th Jul '20 (Patreon)

More of a general update this week.  I felt I was getting a bit locked up trying to push the HoHH lamia scenarios through and just needed to work on some other writing projects to get the gears moving again.

I didn't drop tools on HoHH completely and managed to get a chunk of Smother Lamia's scenario typed up.

Literotica has their Summer Lovin' competition coming up in August.  I worked a bit on an idea I had for a succubi preying on men at a summer music festival (inspired by the UK's Download festival).  I thought up a twist that wasn't present with the initial idea.  The first draft isn't exactly flowing just yet, so I might keep turning it over in my head until all the pieces drop in place.

More promising is an old-fashioned idea for Annette Brite and another one of her toys.  This has a "toy", a reasonably well-developed main character, and an appropriately weird scene.  I paused as I was concerned it was a bit too much of a bog-standard succubus tale, but I've been saying for a while I need to go back to first principles to get new stories out (they don't all need to be multi-scene orgies like The Succubus Heart Squad and Night of the Nude Succubus Orgy!).

The other thing I looked at was the "Tales from H-space" collection idea.  In theory, I probably have enough stories in that universe for 2 or 3 collections (as well as some juicy twists that reveal what's actually going on).  In practise, the stories need some tweaking to get them up to the same quality standard as my other stories.  I spent today working on adding some scenes and back story to flesh out a a couple of them.

While it would be nice to hammer those works into a new collection, the stories need more than minor tweaks to get them up to the standard I'd like.  I think it might be a useful ongoing project to turn to when I get temporarily stalled on HoHH, but I don't want to go all "ooh, shiny!" and get distracted from the main project.

Next week I'm planning to get back to work on the sexy snake trio.  After June was a bust, I really want to get version 0.013 out before the end of the month.
