I'm still working on those sexy snake girls.  Progress is unfortunately still slower than I'd like.  This week was more for factors outside of my manyeyedhydra persona.

It'll probably come as no surprise that people working on erotica tend to live dual existences.  I'm fairly fortunate that I'm able to derive income from multiple hobbies.  Unfortunately, the ramped up nature of current political discourse is causing a fairly nasty slow-motion implosion in my other hobby.  It's proved an unwelcome and unhealthy distraction.  Because I have a lot of years and IRL friends tied up in it, I'd been reluctant to just walk away.  I think it might now be irretrievable, so I'm currently in the process of pulling a foot out, making a clean break and focusing more on the manyeyedhydra aspects of my life.  It will mean losing some supplementary income, but I can take that.  This patreon is doing better than my initial estimates and I think the game idea I'm currently working on has a lot of potential.  I just need to cut off some other distractions from the "real world" so I can stay properly focused on it.

I don't like making these kind of posts.  I'd rather be posting new sexy stories and scenarios, but this month has been a bit of a shitshow so far.

We still have a week and a bit left.  I don't want the month to be a total waste, so with some outside distractions dropped in the bin, hopefully I'll have those sexy snake girls ready for you to play with before July.

Apologies for a more negative update than usual.  Many thanks for your patience and understanding.

Sorry to hear that political discourse is being negative to you. Some folks forget to be civil, when politics is everything

It's why I've taken a no-politics approach to social media since late 2019. Politics is very important to a lot of people, with good reason, but it also tends to be divisive, especially in the two-party systems of the US and UK. Picking one side or the other makes half the audience feel alienated and unwelcome when they'd just like to read sexy succubus smut. Unfortunately, the other thing I was part of has drifted far from that and the community is in full over-zealous witch-hunt mode. It'll likely collapse fully in a year or so. When an activity gives more grief than fun, it's time to move on. A shame, as it's something I've been involved in for over a decade.

The old cliche about avoiding politics & religion as topics of conversation is a very wise one. They are always the two subjects that can make the very best of friends angry with each other.
