How is everyone New Years resolutions going so far on Day 2? I typically don't set New Years goals as they usually overwhelm me immediately, but this year I set a few small ones for Popcorn in Bed and personally and day 2 we are still going strong haha

Sorry about having to switch Serenity (live now) and Ben Hur upload, being sick I needed to put up something I had already watched. I am feeling on the up&up today and Ben Hur will be up tomorrow night! I am also excited for you to watch Dances With Wolves and Amelie with Carly and me as well.

Ok so in the Westerns Bracket we currently have a match up in the losers bracket between "Tombstone" and "Unforgiven" the last I looked, it was very close, so make sure to go vote! The winner of that round will go against "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly" and then the winner of that will get the chance to meet "Maverick" in the final! DUN DUN DUUUUUNNNN!!

VOTE HERE!

Ok people are so good! Remember the Starbucks gift card I loaded up after the live a month ago, and then a patron wanted to keep it going and donated another $100 and now another awesome patron, Robert Holmes, wants to donate as well another $150 to the community! Just scan the barcode below and grab a free Starbucks drink or treat this week. Thank you Robert, this is so awesome!

Ok back to reality tomorrow people, we got this! Have a great week :)

A couple of ransom questions for fellow Cassie fans. Other than here, YT, FB and IG I've seen some of you mention other media sites Cassie is on. Just wondering which ones? And I remember someone saying Cassie had a cameo on someone else's video. I'd love to see that. Any help would be appreciated

Now it looks like a good week😍

By the way...in the last few minutes of Cassies last live Q&A an inappropriate question popped up on the screen and Cassies face was priceless!! I've watched it several times and laugh every time. She handles it so well🤣🤣

Doubting Thomas

Absolutely incredible lineup! Excited...🥳

Steven Ashford

Omg. That was hilarious. I watched nearly the whole thing live but the chat is so fast even slowed down hard to catch everything. Went back and watched again saw what you were referring to.

Happy Hanukkah

Two questions, Jon: 1. I dislike signing up for too many services, so could you tell me how active the Discord service is? 2. Do you know if there's an easy way to search Cassie's Letterboxd?

Orcagirl78

I think you'll like Ben-Hur. It's long but really good!

Which movie brackets are coming up? I might have missed something, but any chance of a bracket for: - Gangster movies (The Godfather I+II, Goodfellas, etc) - Animated Movies (Studio Ghibli, stop-motion, tintin, anything non-disney) - Sci-fi (Contact, Fifth Element, Inception, Ready Player One, Ex Machina, Her) - Directors (Spielberg, Chaplin, Hitchcock, Kurosawa, Wes Anderson, Christoffer Nolan, David Lean, Clint Eastwood, Sergio Leone) - Martial Arts (Drunken Master, Kung Fu Hustle, Jackie Chan, Hero, Crouching Tiger...) - WW2 (Bridge on the River Kwai, Tora Tora, Patton, Where Eagles Dare, The Great Escape, Flags of our Fathers / Iwo Jima) - "Historical" (Amadeus, Ghandi, Out of Africa, Lawrence of Arabia)

I must be dim because I didn’t see anything. But in any case, a pox on those people that just troll reactor channels.

For sci-fi, I strongly second The Fifth Element (1997). Cassie has seen Inception, but I would happily replace it with Interstellar (2014). I'm on the fence about Gravity (2013) and Edge of Tomorrow (2014). If Cassie enjoyed Kevin Costner, I would recommend The Postman (1997). For martial arts movies, I would go for Ip Man (2008) and Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story (1993). I'm slightly fearful that Dragon would cause a Maverick-style kerfuffle :-), but the movie is both approachable and a good intro to Bruce Lee. Finally, if we're already doing such a bracket, I will revert to my idee fixe and push for Hard Target (1993).

In the historical bracket, I would add 300 (2006), Henry V (1989), and Wonder Woman (2017) :-) :-) :-) Henry V could also be part of a "literary" bracket, with Shakespeare and Austen movies for example. Besides Henry V, we could have Much Ado about Nothing (either 1993 or 2012). I would have recommended Pride & Prejudice (2005), but since Cassie's already seen it, Sense and Sensibility (1995) would be a good choice. Upon further reflection, if we do have a literary bracket, someone might actually nominate the 1996 Romeo and Juliet, so let's call the whole thing off! :-)

I love the 1996 Romeo and Juliet, or anything by Baz Luhrman - I want to add him to the directors

Happy Hanukkah

The Coen brothers would also be a good choice. I am tempted to nominate John McTiernan. Since Cassie has already seen Die Hard, Predator, and The Hunt for Red October, that would give a good chance to The 13th Warrior (1999), which I think would be an excellent choice. (And yes, I know that McTiernan was only partly the director).

Mike Lemon

Studio Ghibli copyright strikes everything, I think. Best to stay away from them.

Tobias Eiken

Would love to see a historical bracket even though it would be difficult to choose what to vote for. Amadeus and Out of Africa are both in my top ten movies list. Would love to see Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon as well.

Jon Johns

Oh no! I forgot she's on Tik Tok! https://vm.tiktok.com/TTPdMLGS57/

Casey Nicholson

How about "For the Love of the Game" Love story you will like with Costner, and another would be "Bull Durham" with Costner. Both really good movies. Or maybe a Western "Open Range" fantastic movie!

Yaisu

I would love to see an animated bracket. I think Cassie would love most of the Studio Ghibli catalog.

Richard Maurer

Would love a Martial Arts bracket - would add Shaolin Soccer, Ip Man, Enter the Dragon, Hero, and House of Flying Daggers, off the top of my head. As someone said above, Studio Ghibli is a no go. They notoriously waited for another reactor to watch 3 of their movies and then did copyright strikes on all 3, causing her to instantly lose her channel. Great movies - current corporate management sucks. Would love to see Cassie watch the Naruto / Naruto Shippuden though.

Mr Jordan

I don't know why everyone is suggesting brackets. Cassie is clearly going to do a Kevin Costner bracket 😄

Eddie McGinnis

Apologies if that's too forward

william f thran

I'm surprised Young Guns isn't in the Western Bracket both one and two
