Any way to re-upload this reaction since the link no longer works?

Try messaging Cassie her on Patreon, when I joined Airplane, and the Fugitive were like this and after she was alerted to the problem the links were fixed.

Luke Godfrey

Video no longer exists.

David Freese

Luke I asked Ben to get the YouTube transfer for this and Raiders a few days ago. He said he'd get them done for me but I don't have a timeframe.

Luke Godfrey

Thanks. Been wanting to re-watch all 3 movies for a while now, and it just seem skipping the best one.

David Freese

It's ok. I asked 32 days ago and it still hasn't been transferred so if I see the transfer I'll let you know.

David Freese

Thank you I didn't realize Ghostbusters was up. Hopefully Raiders is too.

Jimmy Reyes

my fav is you thinking Dan Akroyd was the actor in Home Alone. OMG! you are a GEM! Cassie!

Nick Hook

Now you know who you're gonna call (though you probably already knew as this one's a case of the song being as big as the movie).

Another classic, thanks Cassie! If you like this one Caddyshack and Stripes are both good too, similar casts and over-the-top silly comedies (heads up though, both are a little raunchier, some nudity etc.). It might be fun to see you react to a true classic too. I know how much you like a good romance, maybe something Casablanca.

Jay Kawala

This was a nice bit of nostalgia for me. Thanks for including this in your repertoire. Another movie that I would be surprised if you had seen, but is actually quite good (unexpectedly) is the movie Rocky with Sylvester Stallone. Stallone wrote the screen play and was the lead - which makes me think of how Matt Damon was able to collaborate with Affleck to build their Good Will Hunting movie as an Oscar winning project that launched their careers as well. Unfortunately, I don't think I really liked anything else Stallone did afterwards, but that's just me :)

Here come the Lord of the Rings Extended Editions? 😃

Great, now gotta watch GB 2. Not as great as the first but it was fun.

Yay! I loved this reaction! This my second fav reaction of yours after Raiders of the Lost Ark. Like indy though, this fell on a lot of nostalgia for me. I remember watching this as a kid in the 80s over and over again. I remember slimer Hi-C fruit juice, and running around pretending to be a ghostbuster with my brother. Sure, the SFX weren't great but as a kid that didn't matter to me. I thought it was perfect. And now, it just adds to the charm for me. Your reaction was great too. Your first scare was completely wholesome, and it was clear you really did enjoy the movie which put a smile on my face. A few FYIs... Rick Moranis *is* Canadian and they did do a ghostbusters 2. It isn't liked as much as this one, but I love it in spite of the criticisms. It may be a result of nostalgia or that I am much more forgiving when it comes to movies. Awesome job!

Jeffrey Rose

Rick Moranis is most definitely Canadian. And he played Bob along with Dave Thomas who played Doug in the Mackenzie Brothers from SCTV's, Great White North and the really great movie Strange Brew.

Labcurmudgeon79

The scenes with the guys running through the streets of NYC were filmed without a permit. They just told the guys to run and they got the shots they needed before the cops could show up.

Jay Kawala

p.s. As card carrying Canadians it is our duty to point out Canucks in movies... so I might as well mention that Dan Aykroyd is also Canadian :)

John Thomas

Another fun reaction Cassie. Yep, everyone knows the answer to "Who ya going to call....Ghostbusters". The guy who wrote and sang the song was sued for copyright by another group in the 80's whose song "I want a new drug" sounded remarkably like the theme song. I got a real kick to your reaction when Dana was in the chair and the arms came out of the chair trapping her there and moving her into the kitchen.

Great reaction Cassie.! Rick Moranis was one of the McKenzie brothers. Another great comedy (Strange Brew) Scares and great comedy. You just have to go with these films. Let them just happen. The eighties were very weird... But a VEEERRRY fun time.! I saw this in the theater three times in one day with my buddys. We loved it..!!

Cassie Tremblay

haha yes! I'm so proud when someone great is Canadian! I didn't know that, he was great,. Ok and my husband has been trying to get me to watch Rocky since we first met but I've always gotten out of it. Maybe its time!

Cassie Tremblay

Three times, that's amazing!! Yes, it seems after watching a slew of these 80's movies, there really is something special about them , something that cant be recreated in the same way!

Be Kind

One of Dan Aykroyd’s best films, imo, is Trading Places w/Eddie Murphy. He still acts here and there, but he was smart early on w/business. Dan and the late John Belushi founded the House of Blues, which is in a dozen U.S. cities. He’s since sold it but remains a paid consultant.

thekid44

Ray Stantz the best ghostbuster in the movie

Groovy Reacts

That other guy who sang I want a new drug is Huey Lewis who also sang The Power of Love, which is the theme song to Back to the Future which you just seen.

MatthewBrown74m

Now you have to watch Ghostbusters 2!! It's not as great as the first one but still good especially if you love the first one

William Bryan

Now watch a couple episodes of The Real Ghostbusters that ran from '86-'91. A cartoon, yes. one of the best shows ever, yes.
